He says in the incident: “I don’t want to be that guy. I’m allowed to get inside. No, it’s not ground regulations. This is why I love to do. You can’t say I’m allowed to bring my camera inside. I’m recording myself because. Yeah, because you’re saying all this, you’re recording me, so I’m not recording myself because now you can say anything happens. No, that’s not fair. No, you can’t do that. You can’t do that. It’s not coming in now. Yeah, same. What are you doing? What are you doing? Don’t grab me. Don’t grab me. Stop grabbing me. What are you doing? Stop grabbing. What are you doing to me? Stop grabbing me. If you grab my camera, if you break this camera, mate, if you break it. What are you doing? You ain’t wiping. Show legal to wipe. What do you mean wipe what? I’m in a public area. If I go inside, that’s private. What are you grabbing me for? Why are you grabbing me for? Why? Don’t grab me camera. Do not touch me camera. That’s my problem. Don’t know. You cannot. I’m telling you can have my camera. I’m telling you. You’re recording me, so I’m not recording yo, you cannot tell yo, stop touching me. Stop touching me. Now you trust me. I’m the most quiet person going. I don’t scream. I don’t do all this shit. You’ll get the police involved. It’s here. No. Hey. Help. Get inside. Help me. Help. Please help. Help me, please help. Let go of me. Let go. You’re taking a fucking piss. Let go of me. What are you doing? Help me. Help me. Leave man alone. Help. Yo, can you hurry up? Please help me. Stop touching me. Leave me alone. What are you doing to me? Help me, please help me. What are you doing? Hey, what are you doing to me? What are you doing to. You can’t do this to me. You can’t do this to me, lad. You can’t do that to me, lad. You can’t do that. That’s not fair. I’ve done nothing to you. Mate, look at this, mate. Look at this, mate. Oh, you ripped a jacket. Oh, my God, mate, you can’t do. That’s not fair. That’s not fair. That’s not right, lad. You’re just watching them. That’s not right. Look at this. That’s not right. You came in here. You can’t bring this in and look at this. It ripped my stuff. You can’t do it. Look what it did to me. That’s not fair. That’s not right. I don’t kill you. You can’t do that. Tell him. It’s telling me to. Look at that. Look what he did to me. That’s not right. Let me in. He goes to me. I can’t record myself. You’re recording me. There’s cameras right there. I don’t want to be that guy. I don’t want to be that guy. I’ve got a ticket, so I’m allowed to get inside mate. I’ve got a ticket and I’ve done nothing wrong, lad.
Security: Just bear with.
Fan: Yeah, go on, lad. Sorry, lad. Go on.
Security: Will you give my colleague your details and we’ll get to the bottom of it.
Fan: I’ve got to watch a match. This is what I do.
Security: So what they’ve said is allowed to record inside.
Fan: Sorry, go on. Go on, sir. Go on.
Security: What’s your name? Sorry?
Fan: Eddie. Eddie, this is not fair, man. It’s not fair. I’ve seen this happen loads of times. I never knew how it’s going to happen to me. It’s not fair. This is sad, this is not fair. I do this every single week in Birmingham. I’ve gone to Coventry, I’ve got London, I’ve traveled. I’m shaking me. This is what I do. I react. Literally. I record for Birmingham City fans, there’s some fans that they can’t travel, so they look forward to this. Literally, I flew. I traveled down from Birmingham, I booked the hotel, I’m staying in Travelodge. Literally, this is what I do. And I’m coming down to the match and I’m going to put online tomorrow for the fans to see it. And then back then there was the nice geezer that was chanting. Then they came to me. You can’t bring a camera in. I said, okay, why not? But it’s tagging aggressive. Look at what he did to me. If I did that to him, you guys would have me in handcuffs right now. You would have me in handcuffs? What do you mean? In a minute?
Security: You’re not in the handcuffs now is what I’m saying. They are well will within the rights to say.
Fan: I’m only recording this right now because anything could have happened. That’s why I’m recording this. I don’t want to be that guy online.
Security: They are in the rights to say, you can’t come in for…. against ground regulations. Can’t bring a camera into a ground they are on the board.
Fan: There’s different cameras. What’s going on? It’s not about winning or losing. It’s not about winning or losing. Yeah. It’s literally about me doing what I enjoy doing. It’s about literally. Look at that. Look at that. Look at what? My jacket has been ripped. Literally. I’m not allowed to go inside. I traveled for this. I traveled down for this. I’m not allowed to watch the game. This is not fair.
Security: I’m refusing your entry.
Fan: Why not?
Security: You’ve been aggressive.
Fan: I’ve been aggressive? I threatened him. How did I threaten him? How did I threaten him? He ripped my jacket and I threatened him. You got five people on him. I don’t want to use the race card. I’m the last person to ever use the race card. But all I’m saying is it was a different person that was there. This womb is not an issue. Because. I’ll tell you why. I’ll tell you why. I’ll tell you why. Because I was in here. I was here with a few lads having banter like I normally do. And before you came here, even the security guard, you were nice to me, mate. Sorry, excuse me. You were actually very nice to me. And then when you came and when he came, everything changed. I don’t know what happened. And I was recording the whole time. I don’t know what happened. What’s about having this power? I don’t know why it is, lads.
Security: Well, because it’s their club.
Fan: This is not fair. This is not fair. I traveled down for this, man. This is not fair. This is not fair, mate. This is not fair. Why? No. Why not? I’m not allowed to go inside. This is not fair. This is not fair. This is not right. This is not right. This is what’s messed up. I paid, mate. You ain’t take my ticket. What do you mean? What do you mean? Take my ticket? What do you mean, take my ticket? What do you mean? No, I bought my ticket? What do you mean? You took my ticket. Take my ticket now.
Security: Can I have a look?
Fan: No, I can’t. No. Why? Don’t give it to you, because I’m going to give it to you then. You’re going to take it off me. No, I still, my ticket. It’s my ticket. Give me then. I’m not stupid. I’m not stupid, lads. I’m not stupid. I’m not stupid. No, I’m not stupid. I’m not stupid. It’s my ticket. It’s my ticket. I’m not giving you a ticket if I’m going in. Sorry. I’m not being stupid. You’re trying to be smart. You came out of nowhere. No, it’s not right. It’s not right. I could be your brother, I could be your sister. Just picture it. It’s not right what you guys are doing. It’s not right. No, you don’t. No, you don’t. You don’t need a barcode because if you say, how else can I get in? You’re going to be here anyway. I can’t get in anyway, can I? That’s not fair. That’s not fair. That’s actually not right. Lads. I don’t know. Lads. No, you’re not open. I’m still here with a lovely gentleman. I’m not going to say your name, anything because it’s not your…. Why? Why do you want to predict this for? What’s that going to happen? What’s that going to do?
Security: If you wish to pursue some sort of claim with club or anything like that?
Fan: Yeah, please. Yeah, I’d love to do that. Please. Right now. Just taking my titles right now. It ripped me jacket. Look at that. It ripped me jacket. I’ve never committed a crime in my life. I’m 29 years old. Never. Everyone that knows me, everyone be surprised. I don’t like doing this.
Security: So what is it? Is it social media?
Fan: Yes, social media. I do YouTube and TikTok, they’ve said I’m being aggressive, but how does that sound? I’m being aggressive again. I don’t want to be aggressive. I was being aggressive with five people around me, me ordering one camera, ordering one camera, ordering my ticket, and I was being aggressive?
Fan: This is not fair, man. I spent over 300 pounds to watch a game and I’m not allowed to watch it. It’s a very good game as well. It’s going to be a very good game tonight. It’s just not fair, man.
Fan: It’s a policeman, lovely policeman, and he’s going to tell me what to do right now. Sorry.
Security: So obviously your jacket’s broken. Been damaged. Club staff, as I’ve explained, they’ll lawfully can remove you from property, use force if necessary.
Fan: Fair enough.
Security: So I’m happy you’ve not committed any offences to the camera and I’m happy they’ve not committed any criminal offence.
Fan: However, I think they have.
Security: If you feel, I think they have unreasonably, you’ll be able to make what we call a civil complaint to the club.
Fan: Yes, please.
Security: That’s essentially to write to their legal department. I don’t know what their address is going to be. If you’ve had that on, send it in or say you’ve got it. Obviously you can do it yourself. You can go through.
Fan: Yeah, I write to the club themselves. Yeah.
Security: And so you wanted to make an official complaint
Fan: About how security and staff have treated me? Yeah. I’ll quite happily give you my details. Yes, please. Thank you. Obviously I’ve been recording shouted me over. Look nice on camera. Yeah, please. Any contact card. Yeah. Thanks very much. I appreciate that. Thank you for your. Literally, what a night it’s been. What a night. Sheff is winning one nil. I’m outside talking to the old bill. I just put my details on there.
Security: So what you can do is you can speak to the club. The club and South Yorkshire police talk to each other all the time.
Fan: Okay
Security: So what they may want to do, their legal department, can we have South Yorkshire’s body ca footage. It’s not me that decides, it’s someone way above me. A
Fan: I don’t know how much jacket like that. It’s not about the jacket, to be honest. Exactly. It’s not about that. I’m literally outside right now, outside the stadium. I’m not allowed in. I got a ticket, I came down here, I booked the hotel and I’m not allowed to enter the stadium. Why? Because I have my camera and it goes, I was being aggressive. Everyone that knows me, you know me. If you know me, you know me. Aggressive, aggressive. Now I’m just outside, literally, I could go back to my hotel. I’m going to stay out here, wait for the Blues fans to finish the game. It’s cold, it’s cold. My jacket is ripped. It’s cold, it’s cold. But I’m going to stay out here. Way outside. I think we’re losing as well. It’s been so. Oh, my God, the day style is so war. And that geezer has ruined it. One guy literally ruined everything. One guy. And then one lady came after trying to grab my camera off me. She goes, give it to me. Give me a ticket. And I was being aggressive. I had five security around me. Everything was all right until this geezer came. He came over and everything went to shite. Literally, he came over. He wanted to have power over me. Give me your camera. Who do you think you are? Who do you think you are? I’m still here. I’m smiling. It is what it is. That’s life. But I wish I could be inside watching the game.

Twitter users reacted on Birmingham fans ‘attacked by Sheffield Wednesday security and wasn’t allowed to watch the game’…
@Owlstalk: Hope you’re ok. Have dropped you an email
@JacobL2004: Embarrassing from us. I know the steward with black hair, I’ll be saying something to him as well. Absolutely ridiculous.
@mark_flemdog: Sorry you experienced this. Be interested to see how the club justify it. I sit on that stand & seen more than a couple match day bloggers with cameras this season.
@jake_fish: I watched it and it’s poor from the club! I’d say something dodgy happens because as soon as he calls for the police, the steward panics and sends Dylan inside. Hope it gets sorted.
@SarahWhe78: @swfc this is disgraceful of your stewards
@culoid: Sums our club up. Jumped up clowns in jackets. Tried taking protest leaflet off me. 😩 Sorry and good luck for future blogs
@Jay_Blogs: Disgraceful @swfc we don’t need this kind of aggressive stewardship! And there have been reports of stewards trying to stop people entering the stadium for handing out leaflets. The gap between the fans and the club continues to get wider. #swfc.
@10sam_hORns: Just watched it and you’ve done nothing wrong at all. Think you need to make a complaint to Sheffield Wednesday of how you were treated and those 2 others were treated cause that was disgusting behaviour from their stewards
@Thomas76661332: Get them reported they treat us home fans like this . I had one last night giving it the big one 🦉
@OwlsofEssex: Owls fan here. Eddy this is a disgraceful treatment. I am sorry this happened to you. It’s not right. Chansiri infects everything about our Club. You should complain to the Club. All Owls fans would back you.
@davittoneill: That’s mental
@ALBIONFANTV: Stewards are proper bellends mate. Admired how you stayed calm the whole time fair play
@_OWLS1: Shocking mate! The regime at Hillsborough is tightening as the owner is loosing power! Every department failing including stewarding. Appologises! The supporters are going to get our club back! Please come again!
@JB3456721: Nothing to see here
@lwindle1990: Hi eddy. First id like to apologise on behalf on the club and hope you are ok. My suggestion would be to send the video to the club, the security company and report to the SIA. Need any help, my DM is open
@GazRobinson1: Not just our club Eddy… football fans are seen as criminals all around the country. I got belted in the chest at Leeds away because my then 11 year old tried to stroke a sniffer dog! I hope the club see this and you get better access should be play each other next year #swfc
@Ste_Whitfield: Disgraceful behaviour from the stewards. Hope Sheffield Wednesday investigate this.
@Lewis_1210: Be chansiri trying to stop coverage of the protest because he doesn’t want the world to see what’s going on, denying fans entry with posters, taking posters off fans and denying entry of vloggers. Clear to see 👍 #swfc #BCFC
@vds2022: @swfc sort it out
@SW18_67FC: Basic law that YOU CAN RECORD in public 🙄 Sort it out #swfc If it’s not one one thing it’s another!
@OwlSheffield: Abit heavy handed by @swfc
Is this what we’ve come to @swfc?
Turning our ground into some communist state where we can’t express ourselves?
Can’t bring in fliers for a peaceful protest, Stewards being aggressive and trying to take fliers and cameras off people.
Absolutely wrong!#ChansiriOut #SWFC https://t.co/xbmHmVMlzD pic.twitter.com/KZk4TJfbHl
