Southern League club Beaconsfield Town appoint the experienced former Championship footballer Sam Togwell as their player/assistant manager.

The 38 year old defensive midfielder or centre-back will help out joint bosses Jon Underwood and Neil Baker, after coming out of retirement to play for the Rams in 2022.

Beaconsfield Town finished the 2022/23 Southern League Premier South season in 11th place, with 57 points from 42 games played.
