In this article, we have taken a look at the average attendance of every Championship club for the 2021/22 season so far.

Finally, we are able to have a proper look at these numbers after enduring multiple seasons where fans haven’t been able to attended matches.

Now that we have seen 11 matches played out, we’ve got a good early indication how well clubs are packing out the stands, whether that’s based on the teams’ performance, form, or just pure desire to go watch them again after so long being stuff indoors and watching via a stream.

Without further ado, let’s get underway and the average attendance of every Championship club for the 2021/22 season so far…

24) AFC BOURNEMOUTH

The average attendance at AFC Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium for the 2021/22 Championship season so far currently stands at 9,585.

It means that the Cherries, who sit 1st in the current standings, have on average filled 84.6 % of their ground, according to data from the Transfermarkt website.

The club had 7,745 for the 2019/20 season, however fans were unable to attend from March 2019 and then for the majority, weren’t allowed to allow full capacity for the 2020/21 campaign.

23) PETERBOROUGH UNITED

It means that the Lilywhites, who sit 8th in the current standings, have on average filled 49.0 % of their ground, according to data from the Transfermarkt website.
