Amad Diallo asks Sunderland fans to change disrespectful chant and Alex Pritchard taunts Millwall fans with his goal celebration.
Diallo requested that supporters change their chants about him before their clash against Millwall because it contained racial stereotypes.
Some fans within the Stadium of Light didn’t notice his plea and continued singing about his manhood on Saturday.
Since joining the Black Cats from Manchester United on a season-long loan, Diallo is a favourite among Wearside fans.
After a slow start in English football’s second-tier, he is now a pro at scoring in English football, netting four times in his last six games, including Saturday’s 3-0 win over the Lions.
Fans created and sang their own chant to show their gratitude for the Ivorian winger, but Diallo took a slight offense to the song and addressed supporters via a social media video.
As he wants to keep his good form, he has asked the fans to refrain from singing the song in a YouTube video that was shared by Sunderland’s Twitter account.

Diallo said: “Sunderland fans I’ve had an amazing time so far and I love your energy.
“And hearing you sing my name is incredible. But we need to be respectful.
“Let’s change the song, keep the noise and move forward together.”
Diallo hopes e can continue his fine form of dazzling displays which could end up forcing himself into consideration under Erik ten Hag having failed to impose himself when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick were in charge.
There was some whispers that the Red Devils could look to recall him from his loan spell in January – which will no doubt be much to the annoyance of Sunderland boss Tony Mowbray.
Speaking prior to the win against Millwall on the rumours, he remarked: “We’ll have to wait and see what happens.”
Before adding: “If he was to go back, then I’m not sure he’d be going back to play, and surely at the age the boy is, he needs to play.
“He’s doing that here, and I think this is a great vehicle for him to be showcasing his talent.
“He’s helping our team to be successful, and he’s showcasing his talent to Man United.
“I know he’s enjoying it – you can see that by the smile on his face every day now, as opposed to a month ago, when he was quite a shy, introverted individual.
“Now, his talent is flourishing and he’s enjoying himself, and I’m sure he’s not in any rush to go back.”
Meanwhile, there is a lot of talk on Alex Pritchard, who could be seen taunting Millwall fans with a West Ham celebration.
Pritchard looked up to the away end and made the ‘Hammers’ signal before his teammates came in to join, with the result lifting Tony Mowbray’s side up to 10th in the Championship table, just one point away from the playoff places.
According to The Athletic, Pritchard used to have a season ticket at West Ham, attending games with his Dad, but, despite his love for the Irons, the attacking midfielder ended up leaving West Ham’s Academy to join the youth setup at Tottenham, where injuries played havoc with his development.
Pritchard had been tipped to reach the very top at one point, with Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid looking at his displays as a youngster – according to the Metro.
He has since produce a bright career for himself outside of the Premier League, and despite never making a senior appearance for West Ham, he was able to have his moment against their bitter rivals Millwall.

This is how Twitter users reacted as Amad Diallo asks Sunderland fans to change disrespectful chant while there was also praise as Alex Pritchard taunts Millwall fans…
@GFos28: Disrespectful? If someone sang that about me I’d be ower the moon. 🤣
@Davidml2003: Running down the wing, hear the sunlin sing
@LochNessDrogba6: sorry mate can’t happen
@Sm0keyRobinson: They’ll still tell us they’re morally superior to us though. Bunch of fucking dickheads the lot of them
@KieranHartley8: Definitely a club decision.
@NotSoLocalHero: Mackems getting told off by their own loan player.
@DannyBR01: Disrespectful fans. even the players don’t like you
@BenHall_85: Some of the comments on here are embarrassing. Lad has been class for us so far. Asks for a tiny bit of open minded thinking and understanding and people are abusing him. Get a grip man
@FTMFreddie: Honestly I thought this was a goodbye message because he was being recalled in January
@PHILLY0199: How much bet the club itself forced him to say that
@Safc_FLAF: Grown blokes desperate to sing about a 20 year olds penis. Canny weird
@AL_SNR58: Let’s show the respect he asks and change the words.
@bazscott81: Amad having to do a video about his song just shows how offended people are over the littlest (or biggest in this case) of things
@AlexSAFC92:
Bit of a strange one this.
1) The chant is not racist. If you think that, give your head a wobble.
2) This is the clubs words. I think Amad loves the chant. Hence the smiling and dancing along every time.
3) If he’s said stop. It needs to stop. End of.

@MattW36565526: Hahaha as if they are singing that man, absolute gimps. Whinge on about Newcastle being classless and lacking morals, and then get told off by their own player for signing racist songs, couldn’t write it.
@JordanGowling29: What you can’t see is the gun being held off camera lad isn’t arsed in the slightest still hass the biggest dick in the championship
