A 30-man brawl reportedly erupts in one of the 80 FA Cup Second Qualifying Round fixtures, and this certainly ended up being a heated clash.
Northern Premier League Division One South East side Worksop Town were taking on National League North outfit Chester, however it was marred by an incident early in the second half.
At the time, the hosts had been 1-0 up, however it is not known what had actually caused the fighting among the players…

Following the chaos, Worksop assistant manager Craig Rouse and Chester boss Anthony Johnson ended up being sent off. A host of yellow cards had also been dished out too.

Anthony Johnson took to social media: “I don’t care what any of you think about me, my best pal or our team. I DONT CARE! With that said – I bid you all a fair well and hope you all have a fantastic weekend…
“A lot of massive cup shocks yesterday, thankfully though we weren’t one them.
“@worksoptownfc will have a brilliant season with that group of players and the way they play. We can look forward to the draw tomorrow now and another big away game on Tuesday night.”
Worksop’s Craig Parry also said to the media: “I’m sat here, after the game, devastated at this moment in time because I thought the lads dominated the game apart from 10 minutes of madness,” said Parry.
“They have dominated against a side that are two divisions above us and are looking to win promotion themselves to get into the National League, so I am devastated because I think the lads deserved more than that and I think it is hard for them to take – it is all raw at the minute.
“As I said last week, when we win they can take the credit but when we lose I have to take a look at myself to see what I could have done better to help them see that game out.
“I think the difference was after 75 minutes, we were absolutely dead and buried on our feet; our centre-halves were doing their best to get themselves up and all our central-midfielders were on a yellow card and we had to make those changes.
“The four forwards were flat out and they have given everything. It wasn’t the quality today that took its toll, it was more fatigue and we just couldn’t get about and near them.
“I thought the two centre-halves coped with their players well and I thought the back four, as a whole, did really well; Connor [Smythe] and Jack [Greenhough] both did well defensively.
“I have no issue with the defence, the goalkeeper and the goals that we conceded, it was more the rest of the side that I am disappointed with for the goals.”
Parry added: “The size from Chester and us, in terms of budget and everything else like the size of the clubs; they have brought 22 players and eight out there that haven’t even kicked a ball.
“For us to have competed with such a side like that and personally, because their guys might disagree, we were the better side.
“I think we could compete with the better sides and they [the lads] have set the standards to go on to do that; we just have to be a lot smarter when it matters to see games out.”
It was in the 31st minute of the game that Worksop’s Oscar Radford broke deadlock, powerfully heading in to go one up.
Some time later, in the 75th minute, Jack Broadhead then doubled Worksop’s lead, and it seemed as though a shock was on the cards.
However, with five minutes of normal time remaining, Malkowski couldn’t keep hold of the ball and Daniel Livesey poked home from close range to get Chester back in with a shout.
Seven minutes was added on at the end of the game, no doubt due to the brawl, and Chester went on to get that equaliser with minutes left, before subsequently winning 5-3 on penalties.
Fans reacted on social media as the 30-man brawl erupts in the FA Cup clash, one tweet in particular ended up going viral…
Lack of empathy, poor education and a crisis in masculinity as we transition to a service based economy.
