Fans can’t stop talking about Said Benrahma being given an unusual award

Said Benrahma was given an unusual award for his Man of the Match performance the other night when Brentford knocked Fulham out of the Carabao Cup.

The result puts yet more pressure on the Cottagers manager Scott Parker, who is finding life back in the top flight hard to come by – even more so after their defeat at Wolves on Sunday, as Brentford themselves went from 2-0 up to lost 4-2, Benrahma not coming on until the 63rd minute.

Benrahma has been constantly linked with Premier League sides this summer, manager Thomas Frank said after the game that the Bees are “open to selling” him after the Algeria international “added a few million to his price” with two sublime goals after Marcus Forss’ emphatic finish had given the hosts a half-time lead.

“Am I confident he will stay? I’m confident that I would love him to stay,” said Brentford boss Frank.

“But I don’t know. Honestly, if the price is right we are open to selling, but if not we will be happy for him to stay.

“Either we are going to get a top price or we are going to keep one of the best players in the Championship. Has he added a few million to his price? 100%.”

Benrahma was handed the man of the match award, but was also given a Crash Bandicoot game, leaving so many loving it as well as confused.

You might be wondering why? Well, Benrahma took part in a Bandicoot challenge @CrashBandicoot joined @StuSoccerAm, @mrmarcusgayle and @karl_osborne22 on the set of #TheWarmUp.

Eagle-eyed viewers of the Carabao Cup clash had to spot Crash Bandicoot on their LED boards, then had to post a picture using #FoundCrash to be in with a chance of winning a copy of #Crash4. Clever way of marketing right there.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is a direct sequel to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, Naughty Dog’s last proper entry.

It was well-received by critics and deemed to be a return to form for the franchise, with praise being directed towards its graphics and visual style, as well as its combination of established and original game mechanics.

The game features new elements to the traditional gameplay of the series, including the use of powers provided by the Quantum Masks, which can alter levels and provide means to traverse or overcome obstacles. It also includes additional game modes for replaying levels, and the ability to control five characters in the game, three of whom – Tawna, Dingodile and Cortex – have their own unique gameplay and levels.
