3 Outside Bets for 2022/23 Season

The upcoming Premier League campaign has the potential to be one of the best in history. Defending champions Manchester City look even stronger following the summer transfer window, Liverpool will be motivated to go one place better this time around, while there could be a new challenger for the league this season.

Here is a look at three outside bets in the campaign which look great value in their respective markets.

Tottenham Real Champions League Contenders Under Conte

Since arriving in North London last November, Tottenham have improved considerably under head coach Antonio Conte. The Italian has been a winner at every major football club he has been at. He will be aiming to land some silverware next season with Spurs.

Conte has added some real quality into his squad over the summer.

Richarlison has arrived from Everton, Yves Bissouma has completed a move from Brighton, while he has snapped up the experienced Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona. They all represent smart business.

At Champions League odds of 16/1, Tottenham are a great bet to win the premier European competition. They went close under Mauricio Pochettino in 2019, losing the final to Liverpool. This may be the season they go all the way, continuing the excellent record English clubs have had in recent years.
If you fancy Tottenham to win the Premier League this season, you can get slightly shorter odds of 14/1. Expect to see them much closer to Manchester City and Liverpool in what could prove to be a very tight race for the title.

Newcastle Top-Four Finish

Newcastle ended last season as one of the in-form teams in the Premier League. If they carry that momentum into the campaign, they could be set for one of their highest finishes in several years.

Given the financial backing the club has, Eddie Howe is set to add some real quality to their squad this summer. They are being linked with some of the best players in Europe.

It is hard to see Manchester City and Liverpool finishing out of the top four, however, question marks must be asked about Chelsea. They have lost two of their best defenders in the off-season. It could be a tough year for the Blues.

Newcastle are 8/1 for a top-four finish at the end of the 2022/23 campaign, and the Toon might just surprise a few people.

Foxes May Have Lost Their Bite

Former Premier League winners Leicester could only finish eighth last season, as they lost as many games as they won across the campaign. The Foxes look like a team that is on the decline, and it may get much worse for them next season.

At 14/1 in the Premier League relegation betting, it is worth taking a chance of Leicester finishing in the bottom three. It is likely to be a very competitive league next season and it would be no surprise to see Brendan Rodgers depart and the Foxes continue to head in the wrong direction.

Best of luck with all your Premier League and Champions League bets.

Hopefully one of the above three outside punts can work for you.
