10th tier playoff final ‘RUINED’ as ‘Newcastle v Sunderland rivalry turns ugly’

A 10th tier playoff final between Newcastle Blue Star and Easington Colliery was ‘RUINED’ as Newcastle v Sunderland rivalry ‘turns ugly’.

Newcastle fan and YouTuber Adam Pearson has been praised on how he dealt with a bottle being thrown at him by a young lad who had been part of a group taunting.

He provides regular news on the club quoted by respected journalists and provide fan led content from every single first team game home and away.

He also has also have a good relationship with Newcastle United’s Women team and his YouTube channel is the only place you can regular matchday content on the team.

His YouTube channel has as many as 51,700 subscribers and his Twitter has 46,000 followers.

He arrived at Newcastle Blue Star v Easington Colliery for the Northern League Division Two playoff final, which had a crowd of 1,761.

He had photos with some fans who wanted a selfie with him, and he posted one of the photos of that moment he had with a young supporter, captioning it: “Appreciate the warm hospitality tonight 👏🏻”

However, he was also on the end of some stick by a group of ‘yoofs’. He had been recording a video, but in the background you can see the lads approach him and sang “You’re just a sad Geordie bastard”.

He tries to carry on before looking over his shoulder, with a smirk, and then a bottle is chucked at him, but he doesn’t flinch, not even a shake of the video camera, before the lads get told off by an adult who had witnessed the incident.

Twitter user @GingerPirlo_ replied to his clip: “And the camera doesn’t even move. Solid.”

To which Adam says: “Sheffield Wednesday fans lobbed Heinz Beans tin cans at me, I’m used to it.”

Adam Pearson adds in a further tweet: “They all got kicked out the ground for telling the linesman to ‘get her tits out for the lads'”

It seems there was other moments of trouble at the game with @HappyHopperNE tweeting: “After what I have seen tonight, I really question the logic of allowing Step 6 clubs to host promotion playoff games.

“And I’ll never go back to @nbsfc2018 again. Grown men fearing for their kids.

“That’s all I have to say on the subject.”

To which Newcastle Blue Star responded: “Hi, sorry to hear this following last nights game. However, it appears you are solely pointing the blame at ourselves?

“We absolutely do not condone any behaviour that was out of line last night, and will be taking the necessary actions.

“But when a club official is headbutted and home fan assaulted by an opposing player…. I think questions need to be asked of others well.”

Two late goals from Brad Forster (86) and James Fairley (87) put Easington 2-0 up, however after the game was stopped due to troubling scenes inside the ground, Newcastle Blue Star’s Nelson Ogbewe got one back in the 15th minute of added time for a slightly more nervy finish to the game.

Added time also saw Easington’s Reece Kenney sent off (90+8) for a second yellow.

Then fans ran onto the pitch, some after being goaded and others more in celebration, with fans soon being kicked out the ground, marking quite the end to a dramatic and chaotic final.

Newcastle fan Adam Pearson was praised for how he dealt with bottle thrown at him at the 10th tier playoff final…

@decdelaney1878: They’ve been raised well 👏

@EllwoodJayy: The presence of the goat they couldn’t get near haha 10 yards back 💪 🐐

@IvarSvare: sad, hope you are ok.

@YorkiePuds44: Didn’t move an inch, fair play fella. The plank throws something then retreats 😂😂

@willc2k15: Adam p never backs down.

@kp0w22: Didn’t even move 😂

@Bailey28J_: The first boy turned round just to double check his pals were coming with him 😂😂😂😂

@SidzyUK: Throws a bottle of water and then runs back. Kids these days 🤡🤡

@_LfcAdxm: Fill them in lad, chin them

@saintsfan2007: Disgusting!!!

@tonynewby30: They’re not wrong

@KierenJennings: As a Sunderland fan I’ve got to say there’s just no need. You took it well mate ⚪🔴 little shits

@Kriswaterson: Good for you not allowing small minded children to throw u off ur game. Jealousy will get them know where.

@jgnufc1: Bag out of order this mind. Hopefully their dads give them a good kick up the arse that’s needed

@paul_tweedy: Haha you attract some dodgy fkrs Adam my friend 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏻👎🏼

@AidenDZN: Young degenerates.

@KrissNufc83: Horrible little rats!

@RonnieB11412341: Best way to deal with the deluded unfortunates is to rise above it. Well done lad!!!

@NUFCian_YT: Bellends. You did well not to react.

@OwenH04: Ruined the game for everyone, absolute scumbags. Lino, spectators and players abused and ruined a massive night for Blue Star, couldn’t watch it with them going on like melts behind the goal

@FrenchyWHU: If you think this is funny or the lad “deserves” it you’re a gimp. If you don’t like what he does don’t watch him or ignore him it’s as simple as that. Surely you’ve got better things to worry about ?

@ToonArmyTalk: Fair play to Adam like. For a young lad he takes so much abuse from our fans and other teams fans and he handles it very well.

@liambis94781474: No clue why Adam gets so much stick and abuse I get having a bit of banter but throwing things at him is too far and pathetic. keep doing what you’re doing fella 🤝

@Bailey28J_: Took it like a champ to be fair to him

@aaronjfarrow2: The invisible wall strikes again 😂

@Jjang199409: Don’t care who you support. Anyone saying “This is brilliant” is a fucking fool. This kind of behaviour should never be encouraged. Especially within the younger generation. Worlds fucked. #SAFC #NUFC

@fewpints: Thick as a church door them young ins… I’d die with embarrassment if they were mine. #NUFC

@Charliee1878: All for giving him shit but don’t throw a bottle at him that I don’t agree with

@ajohnstoncsc: each day proves more and more that i’m not ready to have kids coz they really are little pricks

@bxnlufc: not really necessary isn’t it, poor fella

@TheBladette: He’s just use to it by now, bless him 😂😂
