Wrexham give update on how many tickets they have sold for the FA Trophy Final

Wrexham give an update on how many tickets they have sold for their FA Trophy Final which takes place at Wembley Stadium next month.

The Welsh outfit will be facing fellow National League side Bromley with a large attendance expected for the showpiece on the 22nd of May.

It is part of Non-League Finals Day with both the FA Vase and FA Trophy are played back-to-back in what is a bumper day of action and celebration of non league football.

Littlehampton Town face off against Newport Pagnell Town in an FA Vase Final that will see a first-time winner of the competition crowned.

Littlehampton Town of the Southern Combination Premier Division (Step 5 of non league) are appearing in their first FA Vase Final having overcome their previous best result when reaching the Semi-Finals 31 years ago. They beat Loughborough University Students 4-0 in the Semi-Final.

Buckinghamshire based Newport Pagnell Town of the United Counties League Premier Division South (also Step 5) are also making their first FA Vase Final appearance having overcome Hamworthy United in the Semi-Final after a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

WREXHAM’S LATEST STATEMENT:

Ahead of what promises to be an occasion to remember for everyone associated with the Club, we are pleased to provide a further update with regards to ticketing for next month’s Buildbase FA Trophy Final.

Fourteen thousand tickets have now been sold to Wrexham AFC fans for the showpiece match against Bromley at Wembley Stadium, with the first priority sales window still open to season-ticket holders.

We are extremely grateful to the thousands of season-ticket holders who have purchased tickets to date – with many buying tickets for their family groups, including fellow season-ticket holders – and would like to thank them for avoiding purchasing more tickets than they need.

As a result, we are delighted to be able to offer 2021/22 members the option to purchase up to two tickets when the next sales window opens on Monday April 25 at 9am, which we hope will give even more groups the opportunity to experience our first trip to Wembley since 2015.

Of the Club’s allocation in the West end of Wembley Stadium, there are a total of 29,000 tickets available for general admission for the Final, with a kick-off time recently confirmed as 4:15pm.

Supporters are reminded that tickets will be available from our eTicketing site, so customers can login as normal. However, please note, Ticketmaster are managing the selling process for this event directly on behalf of Wrexham AFC and Wembley Stadium.

Tickets are priced at £25 for adults and £10 for concessions (Over 65s, students and Under-16s*)– and will grant ticket holders access to both the FA Trophy Final and FA Vase Final respectively, as part of ‘Non-League Finals Day’.

Fans are advised that tickets will be available online only, via our eTicketing site as etickets/print-at-home tickets, with strictly no sales available from the Wrexham AFC Club shop and no physical tickets available for this fixture.

Members will have until Sunday May 8 to purchase, and the decision on how any remaining tickets will then be distributed will be taken and announced in due course, once the number of remaining tickets is known.

Coach travel remains available for purchase, priced at £45 per person for a return trip. Further information can be found here. For more on Wembley ticketing, click here.

Any ticket purchasing issues or queries should be directed to wembley.ticketing@wrexhamafc.co.uk which is a specifically created email inbox for this event, managed by Ticketmaster. Please do not contact Wrexham AFC using any other Wrexham AFC email address.

Our Wembley retail range is also available online now, and will be available to purchase in-store from Monday April 25. Wrexham will be wearing the Club’s popular white kit for the Final, which is currently available to buy both in-store and online.

*Age on the date of the match (May 22, 2022). Those aged 16 and over will need an Adult ticket.

“That is an outstanding response,” said Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson on the early ticket sales.

“Like I said at the time, Wembley is a bonus game for everyone connected with the club to enjoy a day at Wembley and that is what we will do.

“There is a lot of organising around that with tickets and everything, and me, Shaun Harvey and Fleur Robinson are right on top of that getting things organised early so it doesn’t detract us from what we need to do on a game-to-game basis in the league.”
