Worthing player Finley Chadwick scores an unbelievable equaliser from his own half and nets the winning penalty to lift the trophy.

Worthing were taking on Broadbridge Heath in the final of the Sussex Community Shield played at Lancing, and the National League South side had been 3-1 down.

Khallouqui broke the deadlock on 8 minutes for Broadbridge, before Mutongerwa made it 2-0 shortly after, though Worthing got one back through a spot kick from Suk-Jae Lee just over the half hour mark, then Lemon restored Broadbridge’s two goal lead before the break.

The next goal didn’t come until the 63rd minute, with Worthing getting another penalty, Luque placed it on the right side of the goal with keeper Greensall going the other way.

Then, to make it 3-3 on 86 minutes, Finley Chadwick received the ball, took a look up, saw the Broadbridge Heath goalkeeper off his line and from around 60 yards out lobbed the ball in.

The game then went to spot kicks, with Worthing going on to win – with Chadwick, who was captained, stepping up to score.
