It’s official, football is finally coming back, with that in mind, we take a look at who are the favourites to win the 2019/20 FA Cup?

The quarter final draw took place on the 4th of March with ties initially scheduled to be played on the 21st and 22nd of March, before being postponed on 13th of March.

The fixtures were revised to the 27th and 28th of June 2020 following the end of the suspension.

All ties will be played behind closed doors. Only top flight teams will play in this round, the first all-Premier League quarter-finals since 2005–06. This is the current schedule…

27 / 28 June 2020 – Leicester City v Chelsea
27 / 28 June 2020 – Newcastle United v Manchester City
27 / 28 June 2020 – Sheffield United v Arsenal
27 / 28 June 2020 – Norwich City v Manchester United

There are talks that the FA Cup Final on the 1st of August, doesn’t that look strange to read, ‘could see 20,000 fans head to Wembley but only if the coronavirus infection rate drops below 0.5’.

However, the nation was left shocked over the sunny weekend of May 30-31 when there were huge turnouts of people at beaches (such as Durdle Door, which saw four seriously injured by jumping off 200ft cliffs) as well as quarries up and down the country, just days after that the Government said that groups of up to six people could meet outdoors in England, but from next Monday. Better hope we don’t get a second spike!

Should we avoid that, we can finally look to finally finishing the season. So, who are favourites to win the 2019/20 FA Cup?

Manchester City – 4/5 (pre-Covid19 – 8/11)
Chelsea – 6/1 (pre-Covid19 – 8/1)
Leicester City – 8/1 (pre-Covid19 – 10/1)
Manchester United – 8/1 (pre-Covid19 – 8/1)
Arsenal – 10/1 (pre-Covid19 – 9/1)
Sheffield United – 16/1 (pre-Covid19 – 20/1)
Newcastle United – 33/1 (pre-Covid19 – 40/1)
Norwich City – 33/1 (pre-Covid19 – 33/1)
