It was a night to forget for League Two side Macclesfield Town after they were thumped 8-0 against Premier League side West Ham United.
The first goal of the game didn’t come until the 29th minute mark as Michail Antonio headed from close range to put the Hammers 1-0 up.
Two goals were scored in under 10 minutes prior to half time, Robert Snodgrass (32′) and Lucas Perez (39′) making it 3-0.
The second half saw a goalfest as Ryan Fredericks (52′), Angelo Ogbonna (55′), Robert Snodgrass (60′) and Grady Diangana (65′, 82′) made it 8-0.

Elsewhere tonight, Danny Welbeck scored twice to send Arsenal through with a 3-1 victory over Championship side Brentford.
Eden Hazard scored a stunning late winner to help Chelsea come from behind to end Liverpool’s perfect start to the season with a 2-1 win.
Nottingham Forest are also through to the next round as they held on to beat Stoke City 3-2. Osborn, Murphy and Lolley put Forest 3-0 up before Afobe and Berahino gave their opposition a late scare.
It looked as though Watford were going to knocked Spurs out but a flurry of late goals from Alli (penalty, 82′) and Lamela (86′) turn the scoreline around before Capoue levelled it a few minutes from time.
Rather harshly, Macclesfield received plenty of mocking from Hammers supporters, with the club hitting back with some words of their own – check out those tweets on the next page.
