Yes you read that headline right, West Ham United have chosen to appoint an ex-porn star to their board, surprising their fanbase.
The Hammers have named Eve Vorley, a director of X-rated films such as ‘Lesbian Student Nurses’ and ‘Horny Housewives on the Job’, to their board. We really can’t believe we’ve just said those words either!
Her real name is Emma Benton-Hughes, is also the partner of West Ham’s co-chairman David Sullivan and has often been spotted at the London Stadium watching the Hammers in action on numerous occasions.

Now, she has been named as a director at the club who are 10th in the Premier League table, taking 26 points from 17 games played so far this season.
The 55-year-old woman used to be a Page 3 girl and involved in a number of adult films in the late 90s and early 2000s.
She was then starring in films such as ‘Lesbian Nurses’, ‘Electric Blue: Nude Wives – Private Parts’ and ‘Naked Neighbours’, and directed films including ‘Horny Housewives on the Job’ and ‘Sex Mad Secretaries’.
Her brother, is rather humorously is named Jonny Trunk, helped her run a fan club which at one stage went over 19,000 members.
In a piece in The Times, Trunk revealed how his sister turned to the industry when her first husband left her and she fell on hard times financially.
‘My sister longed secretly to be a model,’ he said. ‘Emma saw the glamour industry as a business opportunity, and it worked for her. After six months she asked me if I wanted to help with her fan club.
‘To start with, it was a bloody odd experience, but it soon became ordinary. I’d be stuffing pictures of my semi-naked sister into envelopes and she’d be in the kitchen with her tracksuit on, feeding the cat.
‘She had this amazing ability to switch characters on and off. In front of a camera, Emma was gone and there was Eve Vorley, naughty schoolgirl or sexy secretary. I never did find out how much she got paid. Suffice to say, she moved from her flat in Gravesend to what I called the “Footballers’ Wives” house quite quickly.’

Speaking of her career, Emma Benton-Hughes said: ‘When my husband left me, the house was repossessed and I was left with a cardboard box full of clothes and a bed. I swore I’d never rely on a man again and I’ve stuck by that. I’ve enjoyed being able to help my family, but I’ve been very businesslike about it.’
Some of you may not have known already that the adult entertainment industry was where Hammers owner Sullivan made his money – with his estimated wealth came in at ÂŁ1.1billion according to the Sunday Times Rich List.
The ex-porn star has been appointed a director at West Ham, alongside Sullivan’s son Dave. Sullivan’s other son, Jack, is currently the managing director of West Ham’s women’s team. In 2017, Dave Sullivan Jr invited MailOnline into his pad based within London.
‘People will always have a go, saying I’ve been born with a silver spoon in my mouth, but I work harder than just about anyone I know,’ he said. ‘My dad came from a council house – he had nothing – and he built up a billion pound empire.
‘Well if he can do that then I want to leave my own kids ÂŁ5billion, and the only way to do that is by hard work and imagination.’
Sullivan, alongside controversial owners David Gold and Karren Brady, oversaw a takeover of West Ham back in 2010.
Gold’s other businesses include the likes of Ann Summers, we all know what they sell, along with another lingerie chain named Knickerbox. They are now run by his daughter, Jacqueline, who is estimated to be worth ÂŁ470m, making her the 16th richest woman in Britain.
In their time in charge at West Ham, Sullivan, Gold and Brady have facilitated the move from Upton Park to the London Stadium… oh how those supporters would love to be back at their former home.
