A Wealdstone fan pins down and punches a steward after a very late equaliser was scored against Barnet on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts Barnet took the lead on the 13th minute, with Ben Coker sending the ball across the goal to Callum Stead who tapped it in from close range.
But just as Barnet thought they had done enough to win the derby, Wealdstone snatched a point with a goal coming in the 99th minute.
This lead to mayhem, with some of the 900 Wealdstone fans on the pitch celebrating with their players, but one astonishing footage captured the moment a fan had it out with a steward…

@charliecassen: Unbelievable from that Barnet fan to step in 👏🏻
@barnetfan_1888: Disgusting. Behaviour like this warrants a lifetime ban from football grounds and a prison sentence
@HGEN5B: Matey is now doing a guaranteed stretch for celebrating an EQUALISER at the hive 😭😭
@Jack_murphy46: Class from the big dog that ran on and stopped it quicker than anyone else!
@Dazzap77: And guaranteed our fan ends up with a ban for entering the field of play to help a Barnet steward 🤬🤬
@daveflemm: Must be the raider
@rach_whitford: What the actual fuck? Beyond disgusting. Good on the fan that jumped on the pitch to drag the Wealdstone fan off the steward. No fucking need for it at all 🤬🤬🤬
@RDCEames: Should not be allowed back in ANY football stadium ever again! Absolutely no time for this.
@Luuuce_x:
Alfie: “mummy, why did we go this game? Why are they throwing things? It smells really bad.
Thankfully he didn’t notice the steward get a pounding.
Ban them, fine them, dock them points.
@Luuuce_x: Heroes? I’ve had to explain to my 6 year old that some people decide to go to football to cause trouble and fight than actually WATCH FOOTBALL. You are an absolute disgrace for posting this!
@GaddJordan: Get this vile piece of scum banned from all football stadiums. This prick don’t deserve to see another football match in his life. The steward doing his job has been physically abused @BarnetFC @WealdstoneFC @TheVanaramaNL Serious action needs to be taken.
@james_harpin: Where are the police?
@SimonBain6: Should be banned from all grounds – not representative of @WealdstoneFC fans, hope the steward is alright
@zacthfc: prison now. if our fan gets fucked for helping the steward some serious questions need to be asked
@WFC_LucasW: Please ban whoever this is btw
@Jimbokav1971: I know this isn’t all of them. I know I know I know it isn’t. 😖 But fuck me even their players are trying to help him get back in the stands and away from the steward he’s just assaulted. Well done to the Bees fan. 👏
@jpph10: Wealdstone will not be going down but that fella deserves to be sent down for attacking the steward celebrating his team’s equaliser. Strange behaviour.
@curtiz58: Hopefully arrested and life ban
@Flapper_Kirby: Stewards nowhere to be seen! Fair play to the big lad coming on to help!
@johnScottyBFC: Police are a disgrace again, were pathetic at chesterfield away as well. Poor bloke just earning his money and getting assaulted, police wearing blindfolds?
@TomMarshall94: Yeah we can’t be having that.
@kajeinn: Oh dear. It’s getting worse. Massive fine coming their way
@maxweinbergbfc: Barnet stewarding and security fucking embarrassing, takes a Barnet fan to come on to separate a steward, fucking useless
@JakeSalih: It took a home fan to go on the pitch to pull him off the steward…where is any other steward? Bunch of wet lettuces
@toptargets: Hope this wanker gets outed! His own players having to pull him off the Barnet Steward he’s punching after he tried to move him away from in front of Barnet fans after invading the pitch to taunt them. Its assault, should be arrested & banned from football forever!
@Jessica38649485: Where the fuck were the police when the security guard was getting a battering by a wealdstone fan. Old guy with glasses getting punched in the face
@trevk37: Stay classy Wealdstone. Nice to see the coppers bothering to not do a job, hope he’s up an assault charge on Monday morning, least he deserves.
@chrisrutt3: Really embarrassing today Wealdstone running on the pitch damaging the pitch. Assaulting stewards and NO help from anyone till our own fan helped. Serious questions have to be had with what police and anyone else were doing. Wealdstone fans scum
@duncanyoung68: This ‘fan’ needs sending directly to jail without passing go. #Wanker
