Aston Villa fans throw coins at Watford‘s Troy Deeney whilst he celebrated his side’s opener in front of the home fans in yesterday’s Premier League clash.
The Birmingham born forward scored his sixth goal in his last four games against the Villans, and it seemed set to bag Watford all three points for so long.
It took until the 38th minute for Deeney to put the Hornets in front when he powerfully headed home from five yards out after Gerard Deulofeu’s cross from the right.
He could be seen taunting those based in the Holte End and as you can see in the video below, the Villa fans didn’t like that, as they used every swear word you could think of…
#AVFC fans in tears when Deeney does his thing.

The bitterness from those within the stand soon turned to excitement, as Dean Smith’s side came out for the second half and turned the scoreline on it’s head.
Douglas Luiz equalised in the 68th minute when he smashed a loose ball into the net, before Ezri Konsa’s shot deflected in off team-mate Tyrone Mings in the 95th minute to give the game a thrilling end.
The result could took Villa out of the relegation zone and up to 16th in the Premier League table, Watford, who lost for the first time in eight matches in all competitions, drop into the bottom three and are now sitting 19th.
Villa could yet face an FA charge for the actions of a few idiots who decided to lob some dosh Deeney’s way.
Fans gave their reaction after seeing Villa fans throw coins at Troy Deeney…
Aren't Villa fans scummy bastards?!! Throwing a coin at Troy Deeney cause he scored against them. It's a bloody game!

This is disgraceful. Imagine wasting coins on that ugly bastard and then missing the target.

@Ryxn_AVFC: Said it last time and will say it again, Troy Deeney can dish out the banter and take it. Healthy rivalries like Deeney’s relationship with Villa fans is what makes football fun. He’s also such a nice bloke off the pitch. I love this man even though he’s a Bluenose ?
@MikeBreathnach: This guy is a model pro, can give and take banter from fans and deserves every bit of respect that comes his way. He knows and appreciates that he has a career that others would die for but this has not changed his personality or morals in any way. Wish there were more like him
@Connor_brownn98: I like Deeney, great player can give it and take it, dunno why people are giving him stick if I scored in front of an end of blue noses I’d do the exact same ? #AVFC
@Savo_9: Love a player who can give it large and take it. Great banter … what football is all about. Deeney is exactly the type of player we need at Villa.
@JackPickkk: Any Villa fan who wouldn’t take Deeney upfront is lying, bloke bullies defenders & scores goals. He might be Blues but his the kind of forward we’ve missed this season! #avfc
