After finding out about claims one fan was pulled by a steward over a barrier and onto the pitch before getting arrested, social media users took to express their thoughts as well as hope there was action taken on the steward…
That's a disgrace! I hope legal action is taken against the club

This happened to a city fan last season for exactly the same thing

I hope action is being taken against the steward. The fan should personally make a complaint to police

Absolutely disgraceful. I hope @afcbournemouth take action against this steward and others involved. You going to write an article about this @DavidFraser89 or does it not fit your agenda?

That's absolutely disgraceful, held for 20 hours over that? It was obvious from watching it that there was no intent from them to cause trouble, totally heavy handed approach to a minor issue on this occasion. Steward should be ashamed of himself

@TheSunFootball… Apologies are due, i think!

Others say Bournemouth stewards has quite a previous to trouble with fans…
Bournemouth's stewards must have got too big for their boots in recent times cos back in 2011, when #Tranmere scored a last minute winner down there, they were very understanding when our celebrations spilled over the perimeter wall.
No problems at all.. pic.twitter.com/Dk2Bj4eavF— Des (@Gingerarse) March 18, 2019
I'm sure this isn't the first time Bournemouth stewards have been over the top and heavy handed. The press won't report that as it buys into the negative narrative about football fans

It happens at Bournemouth every time, the setup of that stand is such that any surge forwards will push someone onto the pitch. Hull was the same when they moved fans into the East Stand, but theh changed the layout and barriers to fix it. Bournemouth never have

Bournemouth's stewards have previous when it comes to confronting &' assaulting' visiting supporters celebrating. Try to find what they did to a City fan. Even when Aguero tried to stop it they confronted Aguero! Stewards seems to think it's ok to have a pop at visiting fans!
