One Scottish non league match this weekend descends into a mass brawl causing the game to be abandoned.
Relegation-threatened Petershill were leading 1-0 thanks to Ronan Kearney’s fifth-minute opener at New Western Park in Renfrew. However just before the interval, six red cards was dished out.
Petershill FC tweeted “Match abandoned after an onfield rammy”, which went viral, getting nearly 3,000 likes on Twitter.

Now the two sides face a league probe for the trouble that broke out which also saw fans make their way onto the pitch as can be seen in the footage below…

Two Renfrew players and three Petershill players along with one of the visitors’ coaching staff were sent to the dressing rooms.
Peasy boss Martin Lauchlan said: “There had been a couple of bad tackles in the game but it all kicked off after a free-kick was awarded to us.
“I have never seen anything like it.
“It’s a nightmare to have three of my players sent-off and the game abandoned.”
Renfrew FC have also been contacted for comment.
