Phil Foden gets into a fight after his mum has a punch-up with a scouser, according to reports in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A video is doing the rounds on social media of the Manchester City midfielder involved in a violent argument at the AO Arena in Manchester, with it quickly getting out of hands.
Foden was part of the City team which fell to a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium, a result which opened the door for Liverpool to come back into the title race.
If that’s Phil Foden’s security he wanna think about getting someone better in to do the job 😂 pic.twitter.com/XHY0aZgCGZ

One of the men in the clip calls Foden a “cunt,” an insult which a woman, believed to be his mother, didn’t take particularly kindly to, so she confronted the men and got a punch in the face for her troubles.
He was rushed into the “Gallery 33” skybox by his security team after a group of men ran up from behind him, clearly taunting the 21-year-old.
Foden was taken away from the hecklers and made it into the room, but his mum, Claire, rushed out to confront the group of men.
Things turned sour however when she shoved one of the men, who, in response, swung a fist at the 41-year-old, striking her in the face.

Phil Foden gets into fight
Twitter users reacted as Phil Foden gets into fight after his mum is punched by a scouser at a bar…
@SWood18: Foden video isn’t a good watch. Sad that he can’t go out in his own City without getting shit, he needs to get better security, especially when going places like the boxing which is riddled with nob heads.
@theburnerboy22: She held it down. Respect for her
@ArifSeth7: Foden’s mum threw more punches than Amir Khan💨 #foden #AmirKhan
@Boss__Tha: Fully grown men filming & goading Phil Foden about like little cretins then they go hit his Ma shithouses Take away football loyalties for one minute if someone hit my Ma I’d be doing life end of fookin pricks #YNWA
@MattIngham87: If Foden gets any comeuppance from this, the world is even more fucked that we thought. The lads done absolutely nothing wrong.. attempts to leave the scene, then attempts to defend his mum after a MAN punches her. Who wouldn’t?
@jackwaarren: them 3 blokes gone absolutely looking for trouble knowing it was Foden in that exec box, imagine swinging at a woman because she’s pushed you though 😭 wrongens
@Sammm_lfc: Foden done nothing wrong in that video. People should be more concerned about the middle aged blert that phew a punch at his mum because he almost got floored from a small push. People are dickheads, let the lad get on with his life without pestering him.
@AnthonyFlood3: He’s 💯 as council estate as that clip aswel I fucking love it 😂 he genuinely doesn’t understand his status 😂😂😂 he’s the most purely natural footballer to come from England technically 🙈😂 he thinks he’s in transition year in Larkin 😂😂😂😂
@DownunderDickee: If we are honest Foden has regressed this season and if he continues enjoying going out rather than becoming the best in the world he is risking throwing it away!
@DavsMCFC: He did nothing wrong
@_ChrisPettitt: Doesn’t look like Foden has done anything wrong, looks like he’s walked away from them into the box. That man swinging for the woman is low life scum and the lad swinging the fire extinguisher about is a 🔔 end
@Dean_The_Head: That Phil Foden video has pissed me off. Typical gob shite bullies with their cameras out goading footballers, punching a woman when she has the nerve to defend her son from shithouse cunts that look like they couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag. Embarrassing
@pablophilcaso: top lad defending his mother
@ElliottDavies10: Shocking this. Grown men giving it the big en because they’re at a boxing event. Punching a mother defending her son. Fucking cowards. No doubt Foden will be the one who gets in trouble which is ridiculous too.
@mcfcziyad: Not sure why people are laughing at this Foden situation. How would you feel if your mother was punched in the face?
@LewMorri: How Foden doesn’t fly out with a drop kick is beyond me knowing your mums getting punched up by some chavvy turds you’d obviously fly out at them fuck cameras and all that shit it’s your mum man
It allegedly came hours after Foden was playing in his side’s 3-2 defeat to Tottenham (really was a day to forget!) with Harry Kane producing a masterclass against Man City.
Kane produce the winning goal to torment Pep’s side who tracked him throughout the summer and blow the Premier League title race wide open.

In December 2021, Pep Guardiola punished Jack Grealish and Phil Foden following their visit to a nightclub after Man City’s 7-0 win against Leeds.
The pair were dropped out of the starting lineup for City’s Premier League game against Newcastle and didn’t come off the bench during the 4-0 victory.
The Times reported that Man City were unhappy at the condition of the players when they returned for a recovery session the following day.
In July 2021, Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood were sent home from England’s hotel in Iceland for breaking Covid-19 guidelines when meeting up with women.
