Sane ended up getting substituted off and was replaced before the whistle blew leaving City fans worrying whether he was going to be out injured for his Premier League side’s busy schedule with the chances of winning the quadruple still on the cards.
Low however eased those concerns by revealing after the International Friendly that Sane had escaped getting hurt.
He said: “It was a vicious foul, Sane was lucky and got away with not getting hurt but such fouls can break bones.”
Sane then backed up what he said by telling reporters: “The foul looked worse than it was, everything is fine with my ankle.”
After watching the horrifying footage of Pavkov’s potential leg breaking challenge on Sane, fans took to social media to reveal those worries, but others also reassured that he will be fine – check out those tweets on the next page.
