Every Premier League side’s run-in for the remainder of 2018/19 season

As the end of the season is fast approaching, we have decided to take a look at every Premier League side’s run-in for the remainder of 2018/19 season.

Leading the way at the top of the table is Liverpool who are assured of at least Europa League, but may still qualify for Champions League. They have played a game more than Manchester City in the second and two points behind with 74 points.

Tottenham are third with 61 points, 13 behind City and are now hoping they can finish between 3rd and 5th to qualify for the Champions League group stage. Arsenal and Manchester United also trail behind Spurs by a few points (60 and 58).

Chelsea just behind them in 6th and 57 points but a point off United. 6th place finish means a qualification spot for the Europa League group stage and 7th – which is Wolves, who are 13 points behind Chelsea – which means a qualification spot for the Europa League second qualifying round.

Watford, are in 8th and are a point behind Nuno’s men. West Ham, Leicester, Everton and Bournemouth – 9th to 12th – have all played a game more and are a few points behind the Hornets.

Newcastle, in 13th, are 9 points off Wolves and 7 clear of the relegation zone.

Crystal Palace and Brighton, 14th and 15th, have 33 points. Palace have played a game less than 9th and 13th, Brighton two games behind.

Southampton and Burnley, 16th and 17th, are 2 points off the drop. The Saints have played a game less (30) than the Clarets (31).

In the drop, Cardiff, who really look like the only team able to escape the drop as got a lot more points than Championship bound Fulham and Huddersfield. Bluebirds also got a game in hand over Sean Dyche’s side. Squeaky bum time!
