Sheffield United fans have been left baffled today after watching a Sky Sports pundit claim that the club need a striker.
One social media user posted footage of the moment on Twitter, which showed Sue Smith seemingly forgetting the Championship’s second highest top scorer this season Billy Sharp.
After being asked about whether they got enough to get them that all important promotion to the Premier League, she said: “He’s (Chris Wilder) got a real togetherness but I was thinking are they lacking a striker, an out and out striker? I know they have brought Madine in who could be the man for them, I know he scored two goals against Reading.
“So they seem to have brought somebody in that could score the goals for them because they seem to have everything else, they have the creativity, they have great football.
“But have they got somebody who is going to score a lot of goals that is going to get them promoted? Maybe they have that now.”

Billy Sharp has scored 22 league goals this season, one less than the leading top goalscorer in the Championship, Teemu Pukki for Norwich City.
On New Years Day, Sharp scored his 220th goal and became the leading goalscorer in English league football during the 21st Century overtaking the record set by Rickie Lambert.
And earlier this month, he scored his 100th goal in all competitions for Sheffield United.
