A video goes viral of Everton fans walking out in the 52nd minute during their heavy defeat to Brentford on Sunday afternoon.
Igor Thiago put the Bees in front, with Everton booed off at half time, then Nathan Collins and Thiago put Brentford 3-0 up shortly after half time, with Beto pulling one back for Everton, Thiago completed his hat-trick to make it 4-1, then Thierno Barry a second for Everton.
A video has since surfaced online: “Is it 3-0? Let’s go, I’m coming with yous.”
“The fucking second half has just kicked off. And this Everton’s ground. Letting out. This is not support. This is not support.
“Do you call this support? All getting off at 2-0. All getting off at 2-0, lad. Do you call this support? Is it 3-0? Let’s go.
“Lad, I’m coming with you. Never mind that. 3-0? 3-0? Fucking 3-0.
“Look, I’m going to go back in case we get another two. In case we get another two. Hey, don’t worry.
“He’s a Kopite, mate. No, no, he’s good. Are you going to get me out, are you? Listen lad, look, all I’m saying is, come on, this is not support. But look, that lad’s just said 3-0, fuck off.”

David Moyes spoke to BBC Match of the Day after Everton’s defeat against Brentford: “I’m disappointed we didn’t play better. We were just a bit short in some areas. We were disappointing defensively today and not as strong as we have been.
“We are short on a lot of our creative players which showed at times. [But] we didn’t do our defensive duties as well as we could have done.
“When your centre forwards score goals that’s what we want. Today they didn’t have the support and back-up. If we’d kept a clean sheet we could have won. But no complaints, Brentford deserved the victory.”
Moyes to Sky Sports:
“I don’t think it’s really surprised me. We knew we were relatively short in some areas. But the areas I hoped we were strong in, we didn’t perform in those areas as well as we should have done.
“We gave away goals, the first one was a poor one. Credit to them they crossed it early and finished it well, but from our point of view, it was a poor goal. Then the second came from a corner kick which made it really difficult.
“If you had taken out the goal, there wasn’t much in the first half but the goal had such a big impact on the game itself. We found ourselves chasing and opened up the game too much. We tried to do it with more forward play and caused them a bit more trouble [by making half-time changes] but it went the opposite way.
“I don’t think we did particularly well for any of the goals. We were always in the game at 1-0, when we came out at half-time, we knew were in the game, at home, and tried to be positive. But the two goals finished us off.”

Keith Andrews spoke to BBC Match of the Day after Brentford’s victory against Everton: “We were excellent. Personality, conviction, energy, spirit. At a very difficult ground.”
On Igor Thiago’s hat-trick: “Strikers live and breathe [goals] and get a lot of confidence from it. He’s played well without scoring recently. His performance today was sensational. He deserves the accolades.
“It’s about consistency. I feel the team and squad and club have taken good steps forward in the last few weeks. They have earned that, to play in this way.
“We are very respectul of each game. We just keep working hard. A real appetite to improve all the time and push each other and see where we go.”
Igor Thiago told Sky Sports: “I knew I was going to score that [third] goal.”
Captain Nathan Collins added: “He’s one of the hardest working men I’ve ever seen and he deserves everything he gets.”
Andrews to Sky Sports:
“Pride. It’s not an easy place to come even though it’s our first time here. Everton away in general is a very difficult fixture, with the manager they have, coaching staff they have, level ability in playing area. It takes real courage to come here and play the way we did.
“We could have been more than 1-0 up at half-time. We got into a groove and if we were more clinical, we could have taken our opportunities. We wanted to start the second half in a positive fashion, we knew there would be a reaction from their bench. The grit, personality and character we showed as a club was really impressive.
“Thiago’s been huge. He gives us a platform to play off. He’s selfless in his game. The goals get the headlines but Schade scored a hat-trick against Bournemouth a couple of games ago and Thiago was just as impressive as him in terms of allowing players to come into the game and beyond him. That relationship is constantly building. He’s shown he can score goals, which is what strikers want to do, but he’s been even more impressive without the goals.”
“I’m just grateful”
