After checking out a video following George Elokobi jumping into the stands to confront a fan, social media users took to give their reaction with many shocked at what they witnessed…

I was right there with my boy (who was petrified by @georgeelokobi behaviour) and I can say 100% that there was not a hint of racism. I HATE racism and certainly wouldn’t defend someone being racist.

@Scott_Weaver14: I wasn’t at the game but I find it hard to believe a true Braintree fan would shout something racist at George Elokobi. He’s a former Iron player and very respected by true fans in his short time at the club. If it is true then hopefully action is taken
