A video emerges of a steward at Oldham being escorted out after an alleged incident with a fan during the league opener against Braintree.
William Shorrock commented on Facebook: “Yes, I was behind the goal. Steward man handled a kid getting a high five off our winger.
“A teenager complains and the steward called him a little bitch and offered to fight him after match.
“So steward got told to shut the **** up.. He then threw his bib off. So we all sang to him. You’re getting sacked in the morning. Followed by he is going to cry in a minute.
“He went off with some other stewards non too happy. Reality is he was non professional and had no right to man handle a kid.”
There is yet to be a statement from the club on this matter.

The game itself saw Oldham make an impressive start to the new National League campaign, a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Jes Uchegbulam, Harry Charsley and Mike Fondop as well as Braintree’s Inih Effiong having a penalty saved.
It was 1-0 on 11 minutes with Dan Gardner played a fantastic long ball towards Uchegbulam, who brought it down and finished calmly.
The hosts doubled their lead on the 30 minute mark, Reagan Ogle put a dangerous throw into the box, Knight-Bridge couldn’t deal with in the Braintree goal, and Harry Charsley was there to tap the ball home.
Just before the break, Braintree’s Effiong saw his penalty saved, Mathew Hudson got down to right and pushed the ball out, and the resulting corner is cleared.
Then on 60 minutes, Ogle played a chip towards Oli Hammond in the box, his shot was saved, but it fell straight to Fondop who put the ball away.

The Oldham Times report that this is first time since August the 3rd 2013, since the club won their first league games, while it’s as far back as August the 6th 2005 since their last opening day win and clean sheet at home.
On that, boss Micky Mellon said: “Everyone kept telling me that we hadn’t won the first game for ages and all that kind of thing, but that’s stopped now.
“It’s important to get off to a good start, get a victory and get it on the board really, really quickly and we managed to do that today.
“There’s lots to be pleased about but loads of work to be done and hopefully I’m just standing here and saying that’s just what Oldham do, they just win games of football and we just get on with it and move on.
“The good thing is we can be better, but I think the first game of the season is always kind of a nervy affair and when you’re at Oldham you’re expected to come out of the traps like lightning. The players knew that.
“We scored some goals, got one chalked off that I don’t know what for, they missed a penalty, we could have had a couple more, but all in all it’s a satisfying start to the season.
“The encouraging thing is I know we can play better.”
