There was plenty of criticism for Coventry fans who pitch invaded during their FA Cup defeat at Walsall…
Absolutely no need for that. PA announcement reminds fans that invading the pitch is a criminal offence.

Not a great day for Coventry. They’re out of the cup with plenty of national newspapers here covering the first round who will now focus solely on the pitch invasion and fan trouble. It doesn’t paint the best image. #PUSB

@Coventry_City fans invading a pitch when they’ve just got back to 2-2 with half hour to go ? #tinpot

Biggest low of afternoon the behaviour of a minority of @Coventry_City fans/ thugs? Pitch invasion and & least 2 bottle throwing incidents. Shouldn't but don't know if that effected team we didn't have 1 serious attempt on goal in last 15 mins. Behave or stay away #pusb

With Coventry fans running on the pitch to celebrate and equaliser in the FA Cup first round what is the most embarrassing piece of fan action you seen at a game / the largest dishing out of karma?

There was also thoughts given on the West Midlands Police for their handling of the incidents…
WMP can’t Police football games, END OF. It’s hilarious to some extent ?

Got to feel for @WMPFootballUnit @FSU_WMP @WMPWalsallFC busy day at the office thanks to some disgraceful behaviour from #Coventry fans. Morons nearly got the game abandoned.

Actually @WMPFootballUnit and the stewards ejected a number of fans today. The behaviour will also be on CCTV and was filmed for evidential purposes. Faced with huge numbers encroaching i thought they did well.
