There was plenty of FA Cup First Round action this afternoon with many Non League sides against teams from the English Football League and once again we saw some upsets.
The most surprising of the day has to go to National League North side Stockport, who managed to come back from a goal down to beat League Two club Yeovil Town.
Alex Fisher had put the Glovers in front after just 8 minutes before Hatters players Matthew Warburton and Nyal Bell turned the scoreline as the first half was coming towards an end. Frank Mulhern grabbed a third to seal what has to be Stockport’s happiest day since they lost their place in the Football League in 2011.
Take a look at the celebratory scenes below…

Another shock came at Maidstone United when Blair Turgott grabbed a winner to beat the League Two strugglers Macclesfield 2-1.

And finally, Oxford City were very close from beating League Two side Tranmere Rovers. City’s Kabongo Tshimanga scored a hat-trick for the National League South outfit, but a late James Norwood leveller means they will have to play again after a 3-3 draw.
