A video has emerged on social media showing Bristol City and Swansea City supporters coming to blows whilst their teams were playing this afternoon.
An article revealed that the Jack Army didn’t get into the ground until 18 minutes into the Championship clash because of the police escorting them to Ashton Gate.
Speaking of the incident that took place in the stadium, Bristol Live reporter Gregor MacGregor said: “It’s kicking off in the corner of the Atyeo Stand and the Dolman. A large group of Swans fans arrived at about 18 minutes and goaded the home fans.
“In response a load of City fans moved down to the corner of the Dolman Stand to get close to the Swansea supporters. Several fans made their way over and started throwing punches.
“Looks to have calmed down now as the police have moved between the two corner sections. Andreas Weimann just had a goal disallowed which didn’t help matters as it stoked the atmosphere.”

Swansea fans were also venting their anger towards their club’s owners with the Welsh side selling numerous amount of players and could have lost more on deadline day, yet they failed to bring in anyone as they look to try and push on for a place in the playoffs.
Fans chanted, “We want Jenkins out” and “you greedy bastards, get out of our club”, Huw Jenkins and the board they were aiming it at.
As of 8:00pm on Saturday night, it has been revealed that Huw Jenkins has stepped down as chairman of the Championship club.
