It was a dramatic game between Bristol City and Sheffield United yesterday afternoon which saw come out victorious and dent the Blades’ automatic promotion hopes.
It started off encouraging for Chris Wilder’s side as Billy Sharp headed home John Fleck’s free-kick to go 1-0 up after 6 minutes.
City hit back when Andreas Weimann looped in a header beating keeper Dean Henderson to become the first away team score at Bramall Lane since Derby on Boxing Day.
Scott Hogan came off the bench and found the net for his first goal since last April from George Baldock’s cross 19 minutes from time, Blades 2-1 up now.
Six minutes later, Weimann levelled for a second time by turning in Kasey Palmer’s cross and then another six minutes later, he completed his first career hat-trick to help the hosts come back from behind twice to win 3-2.
Following the game, there was trouble between the two club’s supporters which was recorded on video by passers by.
It is not understood how it started, but one fan threw a traffic cone before fans started getting taken down and punches were thrown.
The situation seemed to quickly calm down as they approached a petrol station with a police fan or two lined up.
