After watching videos of Bolton fans causing trouble, the punch up with police and a fan covered with blood, social media users took to give their reaction…
That fine might just liquidate us hopefully

Can Bolton afford the fine?

Got to say, the police only hit his hand as he was holding on to the barrier. No excuse for the fan reactions.

Banning won't work itl just be doing them a faver makes it look like there big men not one are football fans should be zero tollerence. An instant 5.k fine will sort it same for running on the pitch

Had tickets to go but glad I didn't. As fans we have a right to be upset about what's happening at our club but no right to act like thugs. Ashamed isn't strong enough. My brother and nephew were there and are disgusted at the way our fans behaved today.

With recent incidents on and off the pitch I think the FA need to take a tougher stance on violence. #thefa #fa #violence

The club should receive a yellow card. If it occurs again then the CLUB should get a two game, home match ban. The club is responsible for it supporters the same way a police force is responsible for its officers. It not a regular occurrence in other sports!!! pic.twitter.com/nWmDPcDPDW

The tweets continued to come in with disgusted with what they were witnessing…
I completely agree, these aren't football fans. I was in the East stand & from that angle it looked like a mass brawl, police in the numbers they were couldn't control that crowd, appalling

Absolutely. Young lads on their big day out trying to act tough. Throwing coins, which I was on the receiving end of. Can’t say I saw much of the second half after this incident, too busy watching over my shoulder. No one should have to put up with that at a game of football.

Disgusting! They all want flogging -No respect for the police or genuine fans. And spitting? Don’t get me started ?need naming and shaming on a v large billboard!!!!

People have to understand they can’t act with impunity and then whinge if something bad happens to them. Society today is full of people who don’t understand their actions have consequences, that’s why we are in the state we are.

All these people saying 'grass' here – a question. Is it ever okay to 'grass'? Rape? Sexual Assault? Child Abuse? Knifing someone? Murder? Answers appreciated. It's just people get away with horrible things because they tell other people they shouldn't grass …
