After watching a video of Kelly Cates getting abandoned after asking a question to Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville following Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Southampton on Friday night, confused fans tweeted about what they had just watched…
This is like a live version of a FIFA19 bug, where the players are just going mental on the pitch with no explanation…

Was this scripted or real? It's baffling

This needs an MNF analysis of its own!
– @KellyCates statuesque defending
– Sensational synchronised transition from defence into attack from @GNev2 & @Carra23
– Finished with world class walk & talk hand gestures from GNevAs bizarre as it is perfect.pic.twitter.com/SJ3azbUgPY

This is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen

It's dymanic, it's exciting, it's modern, it's 2019 fast paced TV, the boys move like formula one cars and they know they have nailed it. Producers high fives from all angles when they cut to adverts. Does tv get better. I don't think so.

It even sparked up the talk on the way men treat women in football…
I’ve never seen such an unintentionally accurate representation of the way most men treat any woman who talks about football.pic.twitter.com/jvVByD8E7Y

Men: Sexism amongst football supporters isn’t a big issue.
Also men: The only reason you could possibly have to value a female football fan’s opinions is that you want to have sex with them. pic.twitter.com/yhGbt8FwEC

People love an outrage and a bandwagon. This is absolutely zero about sexism and more terrible production. We should just be laughing his hilarious this actually is. ?

I doubt that there have been any studies that have categorically proven that 'most' men treat women in football like this.
But, is it possible that there is a higher proportion of men that dismiss women's opinions than women who dismiss men's opinions when it comes to football?
