The 2018/19 Premier League season is over, so what better way to make use of the Old Trafford pitch than have the legends of Manchester United and Bayern Munich come together and mark the 20-year anniversary of that Champions League final.
20 years ago yesterday [Sunday], there was 10 United players that was part of the same starting lineup from that final. Yesterday’s team were again managed by Sir Alex Ferguson. Ryan Giggs wasn’t able to play as he is busy working for Wales.

Solskjaer, the current United boss, broke the deadlock with a tap-in thanks to a good bit of work from David Beckham, Dwight Yorke and Jesper Blomqvist.
Yorke netted the host’s second of the day 2-0 with a brilliant finished volley prior to half time.
Butt and Saha making it 4-0 by the 84th minute.
And in the final 60 seconds of the game, David Beckham hit high from close range to extend United’s comfortable lead.
