An ambulance was called, but now Eastbourne have said that say Finney is “in a stable condition in hospital, awake, talking and laughing with staff”.
It was goalless at the time of the incident, with the game played at Gloucester City’s Meadow Park ground because of the condition of the pitch at Truro’s temporary home at Taunton Town.
No decision on whether it will be replayed has yet been taken, but the schedule will have to be looked at, with Truro suffering a series of postponements over the last few months, meaning the Cornish side still have 13 games to play between now and the scheduled end of the season on the 20th of April.
