Two League One stadiums are being considered to host Championship playoff semi finals when the season is given the green light to continue.

A new report has emerged revealing that the English Football League are keen on playing ONE legged play off semis.

They would be played behind closed doors with spectators unable to be allowed back into stadiums until a vaccine is found.

MK Dons and Bolton Wanderers have been listed as the type of venues that could host the games, with the governing bodies making sure it is the safest type of place to play the fixtures.

The report adds the suitable ground could need the requirement of a hotel, to make sure players are safe and together.

There are also large Premier League stadiums that would be empty and unused should majority clubs vote to play remaining games at neutral venues.

The Championship playoff final, which is known as the richest game in English football, is still planned to be played at Wembley.

The clubs currently sat in the playoff zone are Fulham, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Preston North End.

Bristol City, Millwall, Cardiff City, Blackburn Rovers, Swansea City, Derby County and Queens Park Rangers also have their eyes on a place should the season resume.

West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United sit in the automatic promotion places, looking to avoid dropping down from their positions.

It is expected that the divisions of League One and Two are to be cancelled due to financial risk.
