• Ipswich Town have joined the race for Derby and Birmingham City-linked goalkeeper David Cornell, currently at Northampton, according to reports.

• New Huddersfield boss Carlos Corberan is fully “on board” with the club’s summer transfer targets, with the 37-year-old already discussed potential new arrivals with head of football operations Leigh Bromby and chairman Phil Hodgkinson.

• Derby have been linked with a move for left-back Morgan Fox over recent months. The left-back is set to be available on a free transfer this summer after his contract with Sheffield Wednesday expired. Nottingham Forest, Stoke, Middlesbrough, Barnsley and Coventry have also been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old.

• Aston Villa are reportedly considering a move for Reading midfielder John Swift, as a low-cost option if the Villans suffer relegation back to the Championship. Sheffield United also want him.

• Portsmouth are reportedly confident of tying up a deal for Barnsley midfielder Cameron McGeehan.

• Cardiff City and Swansea City are set to miss out on the signing of free agent Josh Laurent, according to reports. Reading are on the verge of signing the Shrewsbury player.

• According to West London Sport, QPR are keen on a permanent deal for Tottenham loanee Luke Amos.

• Barnsley are said to have had a bid in the region of £1m rejected for Livingston sensation Lyndon Dykes, who is set to be in high demand this summer with Stoke City also keen. (Glasgow Evening Times)
