Take a look at the transfer talk for the Premier League…
• Wolverhampton Wanderers are monitoring Gremio forward Pepe, according to reports in Brazil. The 23-year-old, who can play across the forward line, has become an integral part of Gremio’s side in the Brazillian top-flight.
• Fulham are in talks with Italian outfit Torino to sign 23 year old defender Ola Aina on a season-long loan.
• Newcastle United have made a bid in the region of £15m for Norwich left-back Jamal Lewis, according to the Athletic journalist, Michael Bailey.
• Aston Villa have enquired about 28 year old Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.
• Free agent Ryan Fraser is in Newcastle for face-to-face talks over a potential move. (Source: Sky Sports)
• Everton are interested in a move for Valencia goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen this summer, provided they can sell Jordan Pickford first. Schalke, Bayer Leverkusen and Hertha Berlin also in talks.
• Aston Villa have had a bid of £15m plus £5m in add-ons rejected by Bournemouth for striker Callum Wilson. According to George Caulkin of The Athletic, Newcastle United have submitted a £17.5m bid for the player.
• Atletico Madrid attacker Thomas Lemar is reportedly attracting strong interest from Wolves and Everton this summer.
• Manchester United have ‘appeared in the fray’ for Real Madrid youngster Sergio Reguilón, with Sevilla also battling to resign him. That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who say United are willing to pay between €25-30m to secure the Spaniard’s signature.
• Leeds are the ‘main candidates’ to sign Crysencio Summerville, report Voetbal International. The 18-year-old currently plays for Feyenoord as a winger, came through the youth ranks with the Dutch club. He has a contract lasting until June 2021, shouldn’t be too expensive. Last season he made 21 appearances in the Eredivisie, whilst on loan at ADO Den Haag, scoring twice and adding three assists. Wolves, Rangers and Red Bull Salzburg have also been following the player.
• Intermediary says Arsenal were ‘seriously interested’ in player Timothy Castagne before he agreed Leicester transfer.
• Fiorentina and Torino are in talks with Arsenal for Lucas Torreira. The player wants to return to Italy.
• Bristol City are closing in on the signing of Alfie Mawson of Fulham with the 26-year-old looking to leave Craven Cottage for more first-team opportunities.
• Newcastle United may rival Sheffield Wednesday to sign up Colin Odutayo after he was released by fellow Premier League club Aston Villa, according to The Chronicle.
• Stoke City are thinking of adding to their overflowing centre-half stable with interest in Liverpool youngster Nat Phillips, according to reports. The 23-year-old defender spent last season on loan at Stuttgart in Bundesliga 2. Nottingham Forest, claim Goal, have “expressed a strong interest” but face competition from Bristol City, Middlesbrough, Millwall and Swansea as well as Stoke and “at least three European clubs”.
• Brentford are ready to sell two of their big name players following their failure to win promotion to the Premier League. The Daily Mail says that Brentford want £25 million for both Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma, with Aston Villa, Fulham and West Ham interested. David Raya is wanted by Arsenal, and Rico Henry is wanted by Brighton and West Brom.
• Derby County have been linked with a move for Chelsea youngster Jake Clarke-Salter, who is weighing up his options with the Rams vying for the defender along with West Brom, Huddersfield Town, Birmingham City and Sheffield Wednesday.
• West Brom have held discussions with Ryan Fraser as they pursue a potential deal for the former Bournemouth attacker, according to 90min.
• Tottenham’s offer for Barcelona’s 20-year-old midfielder Lucas de Vega has been rejected by the La Liga side. Although De Vega wants to move, Barca want to make him a major part of their B team next season. (Sport – in Spanish)
• West Ham are refusing to match Brentford’s £20m valuation of Algeria forward Said Benrahma, 25. (Telegraph)
• Tottenham are set to be offered Italian playmaker Federico Bernardeschi, 26, as part of Juventus’ efforts to sign French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, 23, from the north London club. (CalcioMercato – in Italian)
• Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder hopes to confirm “two, maybe three” new signings by Tuesday or Wednesday next week. (Various)
The Blades boss revealed on Tuesday that he plans to bring in five new signings and that some of those players are internationals. “We have bids in for two or three players now and if they don’t come through then you move on to your next target, but certainly in those list of targets there’s foreign players. I want to keep the base and the core group a British core because it works for us and me. Sander has come in to the group and Richairo (Zivkovic) did last year and Sander has fitted in seamlessly, so there’s no issue for me wanting to sign players from abroad. They just have to be good enough and have the right character and attitude and from a financial point of view fit the bill.”
• Zenit Saint Petersburg midfielder Wilmar Barrios desperately wants to join Brighton & Hove Albion after they submitted a “tempting” offer. (Don Balon)

• West Ham have seen a £20m bid for Burnley defender James Tarkowski turned down, however are expected to submit an improved offer. (Telegraph)
• Leeds United remain locked in discussions with Udinese over Rodrigo de Paul, although an agreement is yet to be reached. (David Amoyal)
• Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds are close to agreeing a £18m deal for Dinamo Zagreb defender Josko Gvardiol. (Gianluca Di Marzio)
• Newcastle United are confident and assured of securing deals for Callum Wilson, Ryan Fraser and Rob Holding in the coming weeks. (90min)
• Lyon forward Bertrand Traore has been offered to Newcastle, Everton and Crystal Palace, while Brighton are weighing up a bid. He is available for £22.3m. (Footmercato)
