Huddersfield Town have had an initial bid for out-of-contract Leicester player Shinji Okazaki turned down.

Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Fulham and West Brom are also reportedly interested in signing Everton‘s out-of-favour Premier League midfielder James McCarthy.

Fulham were reportedly on the verge of signing Chelsea‘s Gary Cahill in what could be a season-saving deal. But, just 24 hours later, The Sun stated that that Cahill’s £150,000 a week wages could put off potential suitors.

According to a report from the Sun, Manchester City are lining up a £50 million move for West Ham ace Declan Rice.

– Blackpool are said to be weighing up a loan move for Newcastle United striker Elias Sorensen – according to the Chronicle.

– Reading are leading the chase to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira, 22, on loan. Portugal Under-21 stopper Pereira is returning to Old Trafford following a loan spell at Portuguese side Vitoria Setubal.
