• Sheffield United manager, Chris Wilder, says a contract offer remains on the table for John Lundstram. Talks between the club and Lundstram have been ongoing for the best part of a year now. Yet still no agreement has been reached. Blades don’t want to lose him on free transfer with Brighton and Hove Albion, Burnley, West Ham United and Rangers thought to be keen.
• Gonzalo Higuain is not interested in a move to Aston Villa or the other Premier League teams linked with the Juventus striker, according to reports in Italy.
• Werder Bremen are hoping that Milot Rashica will ‘soon be interested’ in an approach by Aston Villa., according to reports in Germany.
• Manchester United are set to confirm the signings of teenage Spanish defenders Marc Jurado and Alvaro Fernandez. (The Sun)
• Arsenal star Hector Bellerin is reportedly Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo’s first-choice right-back target in the summer transfer window. (Daily Mirror)
• Leeds United are currently falling short in their pursuit of Wigan Athletic starlet Sean McGurk as they look to add further to their raft of young players.
• Aston Villa are set to test Reading with a bid for midfielder John Swift. Sheffield United have identified Swift as a key target, alongside Nottingham Forest full-back Matty Cash, with The Star claiming that the Blades are pushing for Swift.
• Aston Villa and Leeds are said to be cooling their interest in Brentford sensation Ollie Watkins, due to fears over becoming embroiled in a bidding war. The £25m-rated forward is also on Fulham and Crystal Palace’s radar. (Sky Sports)
• Ex-Middlesbrough defender Daniel Ayala has been ruled out as a potential transfer target for Bristol City, although the Robins are understood to be interested in Fulham’s in-demand right-back Steven Sessegnon (Bristol Post)

• Celtic are braced for a Premier League bidding war for Odsonne Edouard with Leeds, Leicester, Everton, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Crystal Palace in the hunt for the £30m-rated striker.
• Chelsea are set for a transfer windfall to the tune of £18million in their pursuit of Kai Havertz, as Sevilla are looking at buying out-of-favour Marcos Alonso.
