Sheffield United and Bristol City are interested in signing Scott Hogan from Aston Villa in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.

Burnley‘s Sam Vokes has been linked with a move to Stoke City, with the Daily Mail reporting that £9 million could be enough to prise him away.

According to The Daily Mail, Barnsley want as much as £4 million as transfer fee for Sunderland and Bristol City target Kieffer Moore.

Leeds, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and West Brom are all chasing a trio of Fulham players – Stefan Johansen, Floyd Ayite and Neeskens Kebano.

Southampton have reportedly failed with a move for Birmingham City striker Che Adams.

Sheffield United skipper Billy Sharp has said “I want to sign a new contract with the club I love this week”.

Hull City are leading the race to sign Liverpool winger Ben Woodburn, according to The Sun.

Eintracht Frankfurt are in talks to land Reece Oxford from West Ham United, according to Sky Sports News. Reports elsewhere state Nottingham Forest are keen on him too.

Blackburn Rovers nearing deal to sign Middlesbrough winger Harry Chapman but plan to loan him out immediately.

Carlisle United boss Steven Pressley has admitted he is interested in Aston Villa‘s Callum O’Hare and that they are “closing in” on other deals. The chances of David Edgar joining the club look unlikely however.

Newport County manager Michael Flynn – who has been linked with the Luton job – wants more signing and hoped to add to his squad again before Saturday’s FA Cup draw at Middlesbrough but was unable to get any deals done.
