• Ben Davies believes that Swansea defender Joe Rodon would be a credit to Tottenham, if the club can agree a deal for the Wales international. Swansea are currently demanding £20million for Rodon, but Spurs transfer chief Daniel Levy is unwilling to pay that much. According to Wales Online, Tottenham could include Cameron Carter-Vickers in any prospective deal for Rodon to help them get the deal over the line.

• Bournemouth will not allow Wales midfielder David Brooks to leave before the end of the domestic transfer window. Sheffield United want the 23-year-old. (Football Insider)

• West Ham United are considering a £5m move for QPR’s Irish midfielder Ryan Manning. The 24-year-old can also play left-back. (Star)

• The Hammers also want to sign Bournemouth’s Norway striker Josh King, 28, but believe the Cherries should accept lower than their £17.5m asking price. (Guardian)

• English full-back Ashley Young, 35, says he would leave Inter Milan and “walk from Italy right now” if it meant he could play for Watford again. (Golden Tales podcast)

• Norwich City and Reading are reportedly battling for Manchester City defender Joel Latibeaudiere with a permanent deal expected to come next week.

• Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth has promised Wanderers fans that the club will be in the market for new players before the transfer window closes a week today.

• Millwall are currently not actively looking to sign a goalkeeper as Frank Fielding continues to build his match fitness to try to challenge Bart Bialkowski for the number 1 shirt.

• ExWHUemployee claimed that Brentford midfielder Josh Dasilva could be on West Ham’s radar ahead of next Friday’s transfer deadline.

• West Brom are closing in on signing Karlan Grant after Huddersfield indicated they’re willing to accept a loan-to-buy offer. (Football Insider)

• Sheffield Wednesday, Derby, Huddersfield and Birmingham remain interested in Jake Clarke-Salter after he turned down a loan move to Club Brugge. (Goal)

• The Owls have turned down two loan offers from fellow Championship clubs for out-of-favour goalkeeper Keiren Westwood. Blackburn Rovers were credited with interest earlier on in the summer transfer window. (Sheffield Star)

• Cardiff City, Middlesbrough and QPR and are among several Championship clubs keeping tabs on Barnsley captain Alex Mowatt. (Football League World)

• Newcastle United are still in the running for several Championship players before the domestic deadline on October 16, per Chronicle Live, with Watford’s Ismaila Sarr someone they could still move for.

• Preston North End and Derby target Keinan Davis is open joining a Championship club on loan from Aston Villa following a “raft” of enquiries. (The Athletic via The 72)

• Ben Thompson wants to go out on loan – but Millwall manager Gary Rowett will only sanction a move if he can add to his midfield options first. Portsmouth remain interested.

• Derby County summer target Haydon Roberts could be allowed out on loan before next week’s domestic transfer deadline, reports SussexLive. Leeds and Brentford also interested.

• Norwich City are reportedly confident of keeping hold of Todd Cantwell beyond the end of the current transfer window despite interest from Leeds United, who reportedly made a £15m move for the attacker towards the end of September and could, in theory, still sign him before the EFL transfer window comes to a close at the end of next week.

• Huddersfield Town would ‘ideally’ like to move Terence Kongolo out of the club this week, with Premier League interest emerging in him during the final days of the domestic transfer window.

• According to ExWHUemployee, former West Ham player Junior Stanislas, now at Bournemouth, could be an option for David Moyes before next week’s deadline.

• Huddersfield Town had agreed a fee with Benfica for Chris Willock before the winger snubbed the Terriers to sign with QPR, according to Yorkshire Live.

• Reports claim Sheffield Wednesday’s Dominic Iorfa remains firmly on the wishlist of Watford, who were linked with the centre-half last month.

• Southend United have rejected a second offer from Queens Park Rangers for striker Charlie Kelman. Swansea also interested.

• Barrow AFC have confirmed the signing of former Swansea City striker Courtney Baker-Richardson on their official club website, bringing the recent Charlton Athletic trialist in on a free transfer.

• Derby County and Middlesbrough are among the clubs interested in signing Baba Rahman from Chelsea who had been heavily linked with a move to Leeds United, who tried to tie up a deal for the the full back, contacting both Chelsea and the player’s representatives on deadline day, but a deal failed to materialise.

• Ex-Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo is likely to remain abroad after a proposed move to Middlesbrough fell through. The 27-year-old, who also had a spell with Crystal Palace, is a free agent after a spell with Toulouse and has now been linked with a move to Porto

• Portsmouth are braced for interest in their fringe players during the final week of the transfer window. The Blues could allow Paul Downing or James Bolton to depart before next Friday’s 5pm deadline.

• Rochdale have secured the loan of powerful Arsenal left-back Tolaji Bola (21). Not sure whether till January or the end of the season at the moment. Major coup if correct. Has been training with Arsenal first team and is capped at England U18 level.

• Grant McCann says he had a productive meeting with Hull City’s vice-chairman Ehab Allam and head of recruitment Lee Darnbrough. Hasn’t ruled out bringing in another player, but says the meeting surrounded those that may leave the KCOM Stadium in the coming week. Hopeful a small number of younger players will move on loan.

• Bradford City manager Stuart McCall is closing in on landing a new striker – and his arrival could be confirmed on Monday. A new loan capture from a higher-division club is expected to be sorted over the next few days, although he is unlikely to be ready in time to feature against Harrogate on Monday.
