• Grant McCann again reiterated his message that Hull may not have seen the last of the transfer arrivals for this window. Alreayd signed 10. Their City chief refused to confirm that the club’s business was done ‘we never say never’. McCann says some young players will likely be heading out on loan in the coming two weeks.
• Swindon Town are in the hunt for more signings before the end of the transfer window, as per a report by the Swindon Advertiser. Looking ahead at what will be a busy month. He added: “So we need more players in so that we can rotate the squad because it’s going to be tough.”
• Charlie Kelman was not ‘physically ready’ to be involved for Southend United at Crawley Town. Queens Park Rangers had an offer for the 18-year-old striker rejected earlier this week.
• Daniel Farke has hinted on Sky Sports Football that Ben Godfrey’s transfer to another club is ‘pretty likely’ amid rumours Everton are close to signing him.
