• Tottenham are hoping to complete a deal for Swansea’s Joe Rodon. They have until 16th when EFL to Prem window closes.

• Bournemouth are willing to accept an offer for Josh King based on installments to get him off the wage bill. Everton are favourites to sign him according to Sky Bet, closely followed by Fulham and Tottenham. Bournemouth are said to have turned down a last-gasp bid from Torino for their forward.

• Lincoln City are set to sign 19 year old forward Jamie Soule from West Brom. (via Gloucestershire Live)

• Sunderland are eyeing up a move for Leeds United midfielder Robbie Gotts, according to reports. Swindon Town, Hull City and Huddersfield Town have also enquired.

• Danny Welbeck leaving Watford on a free. Allows him to get a new Prem club or move abroad. Top player, top character and sure to be in demand.

• Brentford manager Thomas Frank has said that he wishes Aston Villa target Said Benrahma all the best if he does leave the Bees.

• Kenneth Zohore (out the picture at West Brom), Dion Sanderson (season long loan), Andre Green (QPR target) have all been linked with Sheffield Wednesday.

• David Brooks has been linked with interest from several clubs over the course of the summer, including Manchester United and former club Sheffield United. The 23-year-old has two years remaining on his contract, although Bournemouth have already turned a large sum from player sales this summer and are likely to demand a large fee.

• Despite missing the initial transfer deadline, West Brom are said to be fully focused on bringing in Huddersfield Town talisman Karlan Grant before the domestic window closes. He’s valued at around £18m. (FLW)

• Rangers didn’t follow up their enquiry for Preston’s Daniel Johnson, which was made a month ago. Stays where he is for now at least. Johnson could still sign a pre-contract in January. (Daily Record)

• Norwich player Max Aarons had been a target for both Barcelona and Bayern Munich this summer. Could still be set to depart with Premier League interest.

• Swiss side Basel have been tipped to make a last-ditch attempt to sign Norwich City defender Timm Klose, with their transfer window not set to close until next Monday. (Eastern Daily Press)

• Middlesbrough look set to battle Nottingham Forest and Bristol City for Liverpool defender Nathaniel Phillips, despite previous reports suggesting an injury had scuppered his chances of securing a loan move. (Goal)

• Manchester United have been linked with a move for 22-year-old winger Ismaila Sarr at Watford – and after failing to land Jadon Sancho or Ousmane Dembele on Deadline Day, the Old Trafford club have the opportunity to add another forward to their attack before the October 16 deadline.

• Norwich’s talented young forward Todd Cantwell has been left out of the team’s last two squads, fuelling links with a transfer back to the Premier League, with Leeds one of the sides linked with a move for him.

• Charlie Austin could still be set for a move elsewhere. The West Brom striker scored 10 times last season to help the Baggies back to the top flight but now seems on course for a switch to Derby County.

• Rangers have had a bid for Huddersfield midfielder Juninho Bacuna rejected.

• West Ham are interested in signing Craig Dawson from Watford as David Moyes looks to add to his defensive options. Remain hopeful of a deal within the next 10 days.

• Blackburn Rovers are working on a deal to sign goalkeeper Antonis Stergiakis from Bulgarian side Slavia Sofia. Lancashire Telegraph reporter Rich Sharpe has confirmed a fee and personal terms have been agreed for the Greek ‘keeper.

• Etienne Capoue will stay in England after Watford and Valencia were unable to come to an agreement over the midfielder.

• Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter looks to be heading back to the Championship, according to reports. Trabzonspor and Club Brugge missed out. Birmingham were interested earlier in the window, but speculation cooled

• Famara Diedhiou has been reported as remaining at Bristol City for now. Had interest from clubs in France and Turkey. Deadline now passed, could try again in January.

• The 23-year-old Patrick Roberts looks on course to return to Middlesbrough for another loan spell from Man City.

• Ryan Manning’s future is still very much up in the air at QPR. Had 12 months left on his contract. West Ham are interested, is yet to feature for the club in the Championship this season, instead lining out for their U23 side on a couple of occasions.

• Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo’s proposed move to Premier League club Sheffield United is reportedly hit a snag due to concerns over his fitness. The player is rated at around £17m. (Daily Mail)

• Oxford United would be among the front runners to sign Marcus Browne if the forward is loaned out by Middlesbrough, reckons Karl Robinson.

• Nottingham Forest will not be signing West Bromwich Albion winger Kamil Grosicki during the transfer window, according to Sportime. It had been anticipated that the winger would be transferred to Olympiacos from the Baggies and then be sent straight to Forest on loan.

• Nottingham Forest were reportedly keen on signing Darmstadt forward Serdar Dursun according to the Daily Mirror. Now set to stay where he is until January at least.

• Liverpool forward Liam Millar is wanted by Millwall, as detailed in a report by Goal. QPR and Stoke are also interested.

• Grimsby Town look to be on the verge of signing Bristol Rovers midfielder Kyle Bennett on loan. According to reports in the south west, the 30-year-old is expected to spend the rest of the season with the Mariners, before leaving Rovers on a free at the end of the campaign.

• Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer has claimed that Celtic made ‘another offer’ for Alfie Doughty last week. And unnamed English club is also wanting to sign him.

• Ian Evatt insists Bolton Wanderers will not rush into bringing new faces in on loan to ensure any gaps which emerge in the Trotters squad are adequately filled. Evatt has had discussions recently with Premier League academies over the potential of bringing IN young top flight prospects.

• Aston Villa ‘considered’ moving for Swansea City and Brentford duo Conor Roberts and Rico Henry in the transfer window, as detailed in a report by The Athletic.
