• Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Norwich right-back Max Aarons in a bargain deal this summer.
• Tottenham are reportedly facing a battle with West Brom to sign €20m striker Vedat Muriqi wanted by Jose Mourinho this summer. Napoli and Lazio are also keen.
• Leeds United have fended off competition from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham to sign Linfield’s Charlie Allen. (Yorkshire Evening Post)
• Bielsa favourite Nicolás González is expected to cost ‘around €20m’ as Leeds face strong competition for the striker.
• Grimsby Town are hoping to sign experienced full-back Neal Eardley from rivals Lincoln ahead of the 2020/21 season, according to reports.
• Huddersfield have told Al Ahly they will have to buy Ramadan Sobhi if they want him back. Not prepared to sanction another loan. At least one other club interested in a deal for the winger.
• Dagenham & Redbridge could face losing defender Manny Onariase with League Two clubs Leyton Orient and Bolton Wanderers reportedly interested. The 23-year-old is now out of contract unless they’ve managed to strike a deal and whether Daggers could keep him is a big question with interest from the Football League.
• Millwall and Preston are leading the chase for Ben Heneghan after his release from Sheffield United. The central defender has spent the last two seasons on loan at Blackpool where he made 80 appearances.
• Manchester City midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is having a medical at Sheffield Wednesday. Personal terms yet to be agreed.
• Cardiff City are leading a string of Championship clubs keen to sign Charlton goalkeeper Dillon Phillips. Middlesbrough, Derby and Huddersfield are also said to be considering the 25-year-old as they look to improve this summer.
• Derby County, Fulham and Norwich City are eyeing Charlton Athletic forward Macauley Bonne, who only signed for Charlton last summer but after netting 11 times in his first full season, he is now attracting interest with his current club heading back to League One. The 24-year-old frontman is under contract until 2022 at The Valley.
• West Brom will bid to try and sign midfielder Filip Krovinovic on a permanent deal this summer, according to the print edition of Portuguese outlet A Bola.
• Luton Town skipper Sonny Bradley has urged the club to bring Spurs’ Cameron Carter-Vickers and Aston Villa’s James Bree back for next season, but admitted that the decision will rest with the players. (Luton Today)
• Reading are ready to go head-to-head with Spanish side Almeria to sign Sporting CP’s promising striker Pedro Mendes, who has scored 16 goals for the second XI this season. (A Bola)
• Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End are said to be battling it out to sign Lyon’s starlet striker Reo Griffiths, who has been impressive for their second team since joining in 2018. (Mirror)
• Leeds United have been named the 3/1 favourites to land Argentina wonderkid Thiago Almada, ahead of Man Utd (8/1), Man City (9/1) and Arsenal (14/1). The Velez youngster has a £20m release clause. (Oddschecker)
• Ex-Hull City ace Jackson Irvine has revealed there were “really no negotiations” before his exit, and claimed that the club refused to offer him the security of an extension clause if he became injured. (Yorkshire Post)
• Celtic are now firm, 4/5 odds-on favourites to land Joe Hart this summer, ahead of the likes of West Brom (4/1) Birmingham City (8/1). Hart has recently left Burnley upon his contract’s expiry. (Sky Bet)
• Freddie Woodman has held positive talks with Newcastle United over a potential return to Swansea City next season, WalesOnline understands.
• Daryl Burgess has urged West Bromwich Albion to go out and sign Watford striker Troy Deeney this summer, as Slaven Bilic looks to bolster his attacking options.
• Plymouth Argyle manager Ryan Lowe hopes there will be developments over new signings ‘in the next few days’. There is increasing speculation that they are close to completing a permanent deal for Blackpool striker Ryan Hardie.
• Peterborough United co-owner Darragh MacAnthony has dismissed a report linking his club with a loan move for highly-regarded Wolves youngster Owen Otasowie. MacAnthony said ‘there was absolutely no truth’ in a story that appeared in several news outlets. Luton and Coventry were also listed as keen.
• Bristol Rovers are poised to sign star non-league striker Jonah Ayunga, Bristol Live understands. The 23-year-old’s scoring exploits fired Havant & Waterlooville to the National League South play-offs, scoring 17 goals in 30 appearances before the season was curtailed.
• Morecambe manager Derek Adams marked Monday’s opening of the summer transfer window by revealing the club is close to completing new signings.
• Swindon Town remain hopeful of signing former loan man Diallang Jaiyesimi, saying a deal is “looking optimistic”.
• Exeter City manager Matt Taylor says he is closer to signing the one or two players he wants to bolster his squad. He wants a right-sided centre half and a rightback this summer.
