• Wolves and Ryan Bennett are not overly keen on a loan move after the defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester. Fulham are making an approach to sign.
• Sampdoria’s Omar Colley | Fulham in ‘meetings’ for defender – London club move to yet another target. Newcastle trying to win the battle.
• Leeds are poised to move for out-of-favour Leicester winger Demarai Gray, who has been told he can leave the club.
• Antonio Rudiger refused to play for Chelsea against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, sources have confirmed to TEAMtalk. Aston Villa are most likely to sign him.
• Rangers starlet Kai Kennedy is weighing up a number of options ahead of next Monday’s transfer deadline with Sheffield United the latest side to join the race to sign him.
• Wolves have had a bid for Gremio star Pepe rejected, according to reports. Sport Witness cite TVI24 show Mais Transferências as saying the Premier League outfit have been rebuffed with their initial offering €15million for the Brazilian. West Ham also interested.
• Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos has agreed to a move to Napoli but the deal remains far from certain, according to a report.
• Wolverhampton Wanderers have joined Sevilla and Napoli in the race to sign AZ Alkmaar’s Oussama Idrissi, according to El Desmarque.
• West Ham have made a €25m bid for Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic. (via @dimarzio)
• Leeds United have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for Mickaël Cuisance in a deal worth £20m. The fee represents a profit of £10m for Bayern after his move from last year. Newcastle to miss out it seems.
• West Brom. Making a major final bid to do Karlan Grant from Huddersfield. Odd structure to deal but may work. Other foreign options on hold.
• Leicester have agreed a £30m deal with Saint Ettiene for the signing of defender Wesley Fofana, who had also been linked with West Ham.
• Bayer Leverkusen are closing in on a €10m deal to sign Arsenal left-back Sead Kolašinac. (Source: BILD)
• Sheffield United are preparing a £20m bid for Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster. The Blades have been given permission to discuss personal terms with Brewster, as talks continue over a deal for the Liverpool striker.
• Leeds want to sign a winger before the transfer window shuts and Daniel James is their number one target. Man Utd are set to miss out on Sancho however with their bids rejected by Dortmund, so James to Leeds is unlikely.(Source: The Athletic)
• Manchester United are on the verge of signing Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele for a fee in the region of £50million.
• Man Utd are set to steal wonderkid Joe Hugill from under Jose Mourinho’s nose in a six-figure transfer.
• Manchester United are believed to be interested in bringing Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani to the club who is currently a free agent after leaving PSG, while Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic is another potential target who could be available on loan. (Sky Sports)
• Southampton could make a late move to sign 21-year-old Heerenveen and Dutch midfielder Joey Veerman. (Voetbal International, via TalkSPORT)
• West Ham’s loan bid for Slavia Prague’s Czech right-back Vladimir Coufal, 28, has been rejected. (90min)
• Ryan Sessegnon is expected to leave Tottenham on loan this week. Southampton, Leeds and Brighton are all keen. (via @Dan_KP)
• Manchester United have submitted a new and improved offer in their bid to sign Porto left-back Alex Telles, according to a report.

• James Tarkowski will stay at Burnley this summer. Neither Leicester or West Ham are expected to return with a new offer. (via @AlexJamesSport)
• Everton are set to lodge a £25m bid in an attempt to sign Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey. The 22-year-old is in high demand, with Fulham also believed to be on his tail. (Football Insider)
• Islam Slimani | Club have ‘started negotiations’ with Leicester player about move – ‘Could be freed’ of Foxes contract, ‘interested’ in transfer with West Brom keen.
• Manchester City are interested Nicolas Tagliafico, but will likely need to sell Zinchenko before signing a new left-back.
• Bayern Munich are interested in 20 year old England U21 and Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey. Brighton want at least €25m for the right-back and Bayern would be willing to pay around €15m.
• Portsmouth are among several clubs in the hunt to sign midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes on a free transfer after his exit from Aston Villa. However, Blackpool, Hull City, Doncaster Rovers and MK Dons are also thought to be interested. (Football Insider)

• Fulham are hoping to pull off a major coup by landing Tottenham target Milan Skriniar. (The Sun)
• Marcos Alonso could leave Chelsea this week after his bust-up with Frank Lampard – putting Emerson Palmieri’s future in doubt. (The Sun)
• Arsenal and Tottenham are facing a transfer deadline tug-of-war for Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara. (The Sun)
• Sheffield United youngster Regan Slater appears set to join League One side Hull City. The Tigers accidentally leaked the news on their iFollow account, with a picture showing Slater in a City tracksuit posing for a picture inside the KCOM Stadium. (Various)
• Callum Hudson-Odoi is eager to join Bayern Munich. The Chelsea starlet thinks the German club have more faith in his abilities than Chelsea, and would like to seal a move after falling out of favour under Frank Lampard. (Source: Sky Germany)
• Donny van de Beek’s agent has hit out after Manchester United benched the midfielder for the first two Premier League matches. He also says Brighton should have beaten them 7-1. (The Sun)
• Manchester City are considering a move for Bayern Munich’s David Alaba or Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico – but want to offload Oleksandr Zinchenko first. (Daily Telegraph)
• Manchester United are said to have little interest in pursuing deals for either Josh King or David Brooks, and will instead chase an out-and-out winger rather than the Bournemouth pair. (MEN)
• Manchester United are closing in on signing Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles for around €22 million + add ons. The deal & paperwork are up to 80% completion already & the transfer should be completed within the next couple of days.
• According to Football Insider, several teams both in this country and abroad are interested in taking Liverpool attacker Liam Millar on loan for the rest of the season. QPR, Blackburn Rovers and Rotherham United are among them, as well as the likes of Millwall, Stoke City and teams abroad like Rayo Vallecano and PEC Zwolle.
