Manchester United have reportedly upped their bid from £25million to £30m in an effort to sign Birmingham starlet Jude Bellingham.

West Ham United are continuing their interest in Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen.

Bristol City are considering a swap proposal from Burnley involving their skipper Josh Brownhill and Clarets striker Nahki Wells. Leicester have been newly linked with him.

Nottingham Forest have agreed deal to sign young Swedish striker Julian Larsson – 3 year contract, official soon.

Southampton are among a number of Premier League clubs eyeing in-form Queens Park Rangers attacker Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Blackpool and Wycombe Wanderers are plotting moves to sign Gillingham winger Mark Marshall with his contract set to expire later this month.

Middlesbrough striker Britt Assombalonga is a target for Leeds, claim the Mirror.

– AC Milan express surprise interest in Nottingham Forest star Matty Cash with Italian giants ‘making £15m offer’. Southampton are another club to have enquired about the right back. West Ham also keen.

– According to Sky Sports News reporter Keith Downie, Burnley have rejected loan proposals from Championship trio Huddersfield Town, Fulham and Middlesbrough. Burnley will allow Gibson to leave the club this month as he is seen as surplus to requirements at Turf Moor.

– Fulham have joined Bournemouth in the race for Huddersfield Town winger Isaac Mbenza according to L’Equipe.

– West Brom are set to offer £8m for Dinamo Zagreb winger Mislav Orsic as the Championship leaders target two signings in the January transfer window. (Daily Telegraph)

– Leeds are eyeing Celtic sensation Leigh Griffiths – but the Scottish heavyweights aren’t willing to do business. He is valued at £12m.

– Middlesbrough are unlikely to sign former West Ham defender Reece Oxford, now at Augsburg. Luton however are likely to have him.

– Derby County and Blackburn Rovers are interested in signing 21 year old Lech Poznan winger Kamil Jozwiak, who is believed to be a good friend of Derby’s Krystian Bielik, which could give the Rams the edge over Rovers.

– Nottingham Forest are reportedly in discussions with Barcelona over the loan signing of midfielder Marcus McGuane.

– Burnley boss Sean Dyche has refused to be drawn on his January interest in Middlesbrough defender Dael Fry.

– Bristol City have offered midfielder Kasey Palmer in a potential swap deal for Charlton Athletic forward Lyle Taylor, Football Insider understands.

– Luton Town have agreed a deal with Hartlepool for Peter Kioso. The two clubs have agreed a six-figure fee of £100,000 and the player is said to have a medical at Kenilworth Road.

– Barnsley are plotting a move to sign highly-rated Stockport County defender Festus Arthur, Football Insider understands.

– Speaking to Football.London, Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has said that it could be best for striker Connor Wickham to head out on loan this January, with Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday among the sides said keen on the striker.

Three unnamed League One clubs are understood to be interested have shown an interest in signing Ipswich Town defender Janoi Donacien.

– Brighton are turning Aaron Mooy’s loan from Huddersfield Town into a permanent deal to ward off interest from Premier League clubs.

– Huddersfield Town are interested in signing 17-year-old starlet Luke Matheson from Rochdale this month, according to the Daily Mail.

– Manchester United are close to signing Sunderland wonderkid Logan Pye. The Black Cats academy graduate was on United’s radar in the summer with Arsenal also heavily interested.

– Will Vaulks is allegedly catching the eye of Bristol City, Stoke City and League One side Sunderland. However, the Sunderland Echo report that manager Phil Parkinson is instead pursuing alternative targets.

– Manager Keith Hill insists Bolton Wanderers are doing everything they can to strengthen their squad before the close of the January window. He is targetting two more signings by the time they face Bristol Rovers.

– Dundee are closing in on a deal for Wigan Athletic winger Ollie Crankshaw.

– Exeter City boss Matt Taylor has ruled out dipping into the transfer market to add any new faces to his squad in January,

– Chelsea have joined the race to sign highly-rated Gillingham goalkeeper Joe Walsh during the January transfer window, a source close to the player has confirmed to Football League World Chief Editor Sam Rourke. Everton and Celtic also want him.

– Carlisle United at the centre of double transfer speculation concerning Blues forward Hallam Hope and Barrow midfielder John Rooney. Hope has been strongly linked with a move to League Two leaders Swindon. The Cumbrians are understood to be the club referred to by Barrow as they criticised what they said was a derisory offer for one of their players.
