Crotone have made contact with Nottingham Forest about signing Thomas Lam, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

According to Kicker, Hannover 96 have identified three centre-backs based in England as potential Sane replacements – Southampton’s Jan Bednarek, Sunderland’s Papy Djilobodji and West Ham youngster Reece Oxford.

Championship duo Derby County and Brentford are both reportedly interested in signing Olympiakos‘ Belgian centre-back Bjorn Engels.

Sunderland manager Jack Ross spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s 1-1 draw with Luton on Saturday, and hinted that he will be targeting the loan signing of a talented young player with potential, rather than established star, as quoted by the Sunderland Echo.

Championship duo Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers reportedly want to sign Connor Wickham on loan from Crystal Palace.

Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan is a loan target for Championship rivals Sheffield United, Football Insider sources understands. Hogan has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Villa side since his arrival from Brentford. The Ireland international has scored only seven goals in 51 appearances for Villa and United could be willing to offer him an escape route from the Midlands if they can agree a loan deal with Villa.

Hull City could be about to lose Poland winger Kamil Grosicki, 30, to French side Montpellier.

Manchester City defender Jason Denayer has opted against a loan move to either Leeds United or Celtic, having helped Galatasaray to the Turkish title success last season.

– Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Keiren Westwood could still be a target of Stoke City after slipping down to third choice at Sheffield Wednesday.

DEALS:

Bolton Wanderers have signed Birmingham City defender Jonathan Grounds on loan for the 2018-19 Championship season. Grounds has played only once for Blues boss Garry Monk since recovering from a knee ligament injury last season and is yet to make an appearance this term.

Crawley Town have signed midfielder Rob Milsom on a short-term contract until January after a trial period with the League Two club. The 31-year-old was released by Notts County at the end of last season, having scored once in 75 appearances for the Magpies.

Oxford United have signed Derby County‘s former England Under-21 goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell on loan. Mitchell, 23, has signed until January as cover after Simon Eastwood suffered a serious finger injury in the warm-up before Oxford’s 2-0 League One defeat to Fleetwood on Saturday.

Brighton & Hove Albion have loaned midfielder Oliver Norwood to Sheffield United until January, when a permanent transfer will be completed.

– Keeper Will Henry has joined National League South club Chippenham Town on a month`s loan from Swindon Town.
