Everton’s Phil Jagielka has spoken since being sent-off during Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Wolves.
The defender, was given his marching order in the first half for miss-controlling the ball and lunged to try and win it back on Diogo Jota.
Referee Craig Pawson instantly ran over to Jagielka and grabbed a red card out of his pocket, sparking a debate many supporters and pundits over the decision.

The Toffees captain recently took to Instagram to say what he made of the decision and the challenge.
Jagielka wrote: “Well done boys for a battling performance! Congrats to @richarlison for two goals on your debut.
“As for me I had a bad touch then tried to make up for it with a honest strong tackle.
“In my eyes I made a good attempt to get the ball (which I did) and I also can see I got player after.
“Gutted to be sent off but proud of the performance of the boys!”
Last night, it was said that Everton will not try to get the decision overturned and Jagielka will serve a three-match ban.
It wasn’t just fans who had opinion on the challenge, former player Darren Purse and Everton teammate, Leon Osman, weren’t holding back – check out what they had to say on the next page.
