According to The Standard, it doesn’t seem that Konate is too happy with the fact he is still with Amiens. It is claimed that Konate was hoping that Leeds United or West Ham would make a move for him and is disappointed that a potential move to England seems to have passed him by.

West Bromwich Albion are willing to cash in on Nacer Chadli. The Daily Mirror claims West Brom are waiting to see if Besiktas firm up their reported interest in Chadli, before Turkey’s September 1st deadline.

TEAMtalk claims that Middlesbrough are set to offer Kalas the chance to return on loan, with the 25-year-old left in limbo at Chelsea.

Hull City head coach Nigel Adkins still expects as many as four players to arrive on loan this month.

– According to reports on Twitter from France, Bolton Wanderers are close to the signing of Senegalese international left back, Cheikh M’Bengué.

QPR are ready to sign veteran right-back Angel Rangel on a short-term deal as cover for the injured Darnell Furlong. Rangel, 35, is a free agent, having left Swansea City when his contract expired this summer.

– According to reports from the Sunderland Echo, the Black Cats are interested in signing James Wilson from Manchester United this summer. Sunderland can still sign players on loan, and they are targeting the former England U21 international.

West Brom boss Darren Moore is still hoping to sign ‘two or three’ more players before the loan window closes at the end of the month. The club are already in talks with a right-back, and Moore has also admitted he ‘could do with a striker’ considering he only has three in the squad.

– Championship side Nottingham Forest have signed West Ham defender Sam Byram on a season-long loan deal.

Sheffield United‘s Wales midfielder Lee Evans has joined Wigan Athletic. He moves to the DW Stadium on loan until 1 January when the newly-promoted Latics will sign the 24-year-old on a two-and-a-half-year deal – no details of any proposed fee have been released.

Burton Albion have signed midfielder Elliott Hodge on a deal until January. Hodge, 22, is the son of Steve Hodge, who played for Nottingham Forest and England and was a team-mate of Brewers manager Nigel Clough.

– League One club Southend United have signed Bristol City forward Shawn McCoulsky on a season-long loan deal. The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Newport County, scoring 11 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions for the Welsh side.

Sunderland have signed midfielder Max Power on loan from Championship club Wigan Athletic until January, with a view to a permanent move.

Charlton Athletic have signed Aston Villa goalkeeper Jed Steer on a season-long loan.
