Tottenham take the piss out of West Ham after the 4-1 win with tweets posted and chants sung on Saturday afternoon.
Three goals in eight second-half minutes had Spurs in control after the Hammers had initially gone in front through Kudus’ opener.
The hosts levelled through Kulusevski before goals from Bissouma, Son and an own goal from Areola had Tottenham picking up all three points, with Kudus also getting himself sent off late on.
The result means that Tottenham sit 7th in the Premier League table with 13 points from 8 games played while West Ham are 15th with 8 points from same games played.

Player of the Match: Dejan Kulusevski
West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui speaking to BBC Match of the Day: “First of all we are very disappointed for our fans. The summary is that they [Tottenham] deserved to win to be fair. We started well and we deserved to take the lead despite their two big chances. We defended well, attacked well and had more chances too
“In the second half we conceded the second goal in an action where we had many players in the box. We have to defend better in that moment as they are a team that make a lot of internal runs, which we knew, and we have to avoid that.
“After that was the bad moment in the match. It is normal that you can concede the second goal but then you cannot dismiss ten minutes, we lost all of our possibility to stay in the game and be competitive.”
Biggest concern? “The first is that we lost three points. The second is that we lost a derby and for that we are very sorry for our fans. The third is that if we want to be competitive in the Premier League we need to improve and we need to approach the bad moments with the right mentality.”
On challenges at the club: “To overcome the situation and to become a better team and be able to win more matches. it is going to be a hard week for sure because we are frustrated today. But we have to look forward and be ready for the next match against Man Utd.
On the Kudus red card: “I did not see the action back on tv but I think that if the referee reviewed it and decided that it was a red card then I cannot have a doubt. Maybe it is another point to improve, when we suffer in the bad moments we keep calm and fight to the end as a team.”
I 4-1 absolutely loved that.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou speaking to TNT Sports: “I thought we were good today. We had to work hard in the first half but we got back into the game after conceding. After that it was outstanding from the lads, good energy, some good goals although I thought we could have gotten a few more. Good day at the office.”
On the half time sub of Sarr for Maddison: “Yes it was tactical, I just felt we needed a bit more running power in that midfield area. Pape gives us some good energy there and I thought that really helped us in the second half.”
Momentum after scoring a few quick fire goals: “Yes we felt the momentum, and that is what you want to create at home. The crowd played their part today. We have had periods like that so far this year and not capitalised but today we did capitalise. If we continue that we will be hard to stop.”
On goals from midfield: “It is good getting goals across the team, guys like Brennan have been on the scoresheet recently but we do need more goals from midfield. Deki [Kulusevski] and Biss [Bissouma] did a really good job in there and it was good for the skipper [Son] to come back in and score too.”
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou speaking to BBC Match of the Day: “We had to fight hard in the first half. Going a goal down wasn’t ideal but we clawed our way back into it, and it is not easy. West Ham are a big physical side and they have got some speed as well.
“Second half we were outstanding. We upped the tempo and played some quality football, defended when we needed to and got our finishing right.
“I think we had some chances where we could have scored more but if we keep creating the goals will come. We want to be that sort of side that creates lots of chances.”
Half time message: “It was not about changing things. We knew there had been a bit of an arm wrestle and we always back ourselves to keep going at the intensity we always do and upping it and taking the game to West Ham. We knew that putting them under pressure here at home we would eventually get there.”
On Maddison being taken off at half time: “We needed more running power in midfield and Pape [Sarr] has lots of that, bags of energy and running. He really helped us to get control of the midfield and that gave us a good platform to go forward. Our general play improved from there and we looked dangerous going forward.”
On the break since the Brighton defeat: “It was a bad 45 minutes not a bad 90 minutes [v Brighton] so we were not that far away. In that game we stopped the things we had to do in the second half but today it was a 95-minute performance.”

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min speaking to TNT Sports: “To be back on the pitch is a joy, playing with my team-mates in a beautiful stadium is one of my favourite things – especially when you get the result.
“When we conceded the first goal he [manager Ange Postecoglou] wasn’t very happy. He talked about protecting our goal like a home. But generally altogether with the performance I am very happy.
“When I get the ball I try and find the best solution. In a one-on-one situation I’m very on it and most like to be in this situation.
“[The support is] incredible, I have been missing this support for three weeks and I didn’t go to the national team. Playing in front of these fans is a huge honour and I want to give them something back.
“Sometimes injury time [out] can be good, we have such a busy time, that two or three weeks was perfect to recharge myself and today I was feeling really, really good.
“It’s entertaining [football under Postecoglou] but also a lot of pressure. The winger is expected to create chance and get goals. I think it is a lot of joy and pressure which is where we should be.”

Here’s how fans reacted after Tottenham take the piss out of 10-men West Ham after a 4-1 win with tweets and chants sung…
@YouLoveCess: Lopetegui is clueless! Once again we’ve been exposed and it’s not a shock has every game ever played there has been warning signs and vulnerability in how he sets this team up. These man are dying and it’s all down to this no aura head coach…
@rickwhufc: Agree with me or not Kudus attitude stinks & his red today is the epitome of everything wrong with this team under Loputegui, talent unbelievable but shit attitude. Paqueta needs dropping, too open in mid, we need a new GK in January, can’t even wait til the summer he’s shocking
@LewisIsley: 8 games and the manager is already done 😂😂
@Jus_Wilson: I hate to say it so early into the season but performances like this make you wonder if it’s ever going to click with this manager / team combo
@CraigOrme_WWFC: Lopetegui is not a good manager, who would have guessed
@ApexSWSC: I don’t even know what to say anymore, put in a great first half and were unlucky not to be leading then we go a throw all that work away in 7 minutes and finished it off with a stupid red from Kudus. I’m not one to want a manager out so quickly but I think he has the next 2/3 games to give something or he’s gone I’m afraid. You simply cant spend this sort of money and shift the entire shape of the team from last year and still not get results. I am aware we have had a tough start in terms of the teams we have played but that’s no excuse. United at home next week without Kudus is gonna be difficult but at least we can see Summerville shine, I want no Paqueta near that line-up next week and lets hope we can bounce back strong.
@JustPayTheMoney: I speak for all West Ham fans when I say sack Lopetegui and bring Moyes back to save our club!
@cockneyboywhu: Anyone got moyesys number
@KooyleCS: Guess we’re back to the decades where nothing happens. I’ll still be around. COYI
@WestHamJoshV: New manager, same problems. West Ham are the only team in the league that set up defensively but can’t actually defend. Abysmal.
@THFCHarvey18: Hope you enjoyed your cup final lads
Doing this then getting battered 4-1 in your Cup Final. Such a tinpot club 🤣🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/MrZZNl0qeX
