Tottenham fans have been condemned after they decided to vandalise an Arsenal pub before quickly being scrubbed off ahead of the NLD.
‘THFC’ and ‘YIDS’ were messages sprayed over the Two Brewers pub, which is on Roman Way, about a mile away from the Emirates Stadium.
Photos emerged of the venue, showing what had happened on Saturday night. But by Sunday morning, the taunts had disappeared.

Going into the game, both sides sat in the top four of the Premier League table with 13 points to their name, with Ange Postecoglou’s side coming from behind in stunning circumstances to beat Sheffield United 2-1 last weekend, while the Gunners beat PSV 4-0 in Wednesday’s Champions League opener.
Arsenal and Tottenham ended up playing out a 2-2 draw mwith Cristian Romero’s own goal giving Arsenal the lead, then Heung-Min Son equalised; Bukayo Saka’s penalty put the Gunners ahead again after half-time but Jorginho’s mistake gave Son an equaliser.
Player ratings (as per Sky Sports)
Arsenal: Raya (7); White (6), Saliba (6), Gabriel (6), Zinchenko (6); Rice (6), Odegaard (7), Vieira (6); Saka (8), Nketiah (6), Jesus (7)
Subs: Havertz (6), Jorginho (4), Nelson (6), Smith Rowe (n/a)
Tottenham: Vicario (7); Porro, Romero (5), Van de Ven (7), Udogie (5); Bissouma (8), Sarr (6), Maddison (8); Kulusevski (6), Son (8), Johnson (6)
Subs: Solomon (6), Hojberg (6), Richarlison (n/a)
Player of the match: Heung-Min Son
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta speaking to Sky Sports: “We feel like we lost two points. It’s true there was a lot of change in the dominance of the game, but especially when we had more control and more dominance in the game, and we score the goal, they score straight away.
“We started quite good, we scored the goal, but straight away we concede. So, emotionally, that was a difficult one to take. I thought we struggled for a period of 10 or 15 minutes later, we lacked a lot of composure with the ball and we made it a basketball game. But I think in the end we pushed, pushed and pushed, but couldn’t get the win.
“The hardest thing to do is put the ball in the net. We’ve done it twice but I think we conceded two really poor goals. At this level, they’re going to punish you because they’ve got top players.
“Obviously we are disappointed with the way we conceded the goals but of course this is football and you have to live with that.
“On Declan Rice’s injury: “He looked really uncomfortable with a back issue and we had to take him off.”
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou speaking to Sky Sports: “I thought performance-wise we had to show a bit of everything we’ve got. They’re a good, top team and we had to defend at times. But I thought we showed real courage and bravery just to keep playing our football. We certainly pressed aggressively.
“I thought we were unfortunate with both of the goals, an own goal and a penalty, but great character to come from behind, in a difficult place, twice.
“That’s four away games we’ve had in difficult venues. We’ve gone behind at three of them but had a brilliant response. They’re a top team, particularly here at home. We know how hard they are to beat.
“This side is growing. In terms of our football, we’re still at the beginning but I’m so impressed with the character we’re showing, particularly as a group.”It’s just further evidence that we’re having an encouraging start. We’re only six games into building our side here.
“On Arsenal’s penalty decision: “I didn’t see it. I saw the one that was given yesterday. I don’t know what the handball rules are. It’s pretty much if it hits your hand it’s a penalty these days, even with guys shooting from a metre away.
“But anyway, he gave it. Like I said, it seems like there needed to be forensic evidence to give it.”
