After finding out that Torquay United’s new stadium plans have been scrapped, fans took to give their reaction with majority pleased…

Jim Bling: Looking from the outside in (I don’t live in Torquay) those pooping the idea of a new stadium clearly don’t understand economy or how a football club works. If there is no new stadium, there will be no more Torquay in a few seasons. One demotion and it’s curtains, go up in the league and you won’t be able to afford to play. Sorry to say you all got spoilt by the Bristows and their misguided investment. Unless you find another lottery winner with more money than sense, the only commercially viable future for the club is a new stadium
